Try Clover and Air. Got both of my Sandstorms within three breedings with that combo.

THE COMBOS ARE POISON + crystal, or lichen + river or bouquet + ash
I have noticed that each breeding pair for each gemstone dragon has at least one dragon in the color of that gemstone or close to it. So I would expect a green colored dragon, (i.e. river, poison, malachite, seaweed) and something with one matching element.
Is malachite and meteor a posibble combo? I check that malachite is also a gem and green colored. While meteor is just a dragon that share the same element : metal. Moreover, jade contains metal minerals. Both malachite and meteor are not easy to breed. So they both are the best candidates for a combo to breed jade
It is available to breed and buy at level 14. Metal is buyable at level 17. So the combo does NOT have any metal element in it.
I got my meteor dragon the first time I tried for it the night it came out and I got it!!! Meteor is easy and I have never tried to get a malachite dragon but I know how !!
Maybe the combo is similar to emerald? Say a plant(-ish) dragons with crystal?
My classmate thinks he got it with moss and coral lol…………………… That’s impossible right 0__0 the incubation time is 30 hours can’t it be like emerald or something?
I got 30 hours too but with brass and seaweed
either 1 of you can be right or both lying. theres no 30h dragon with those combination. so try fastforward it n update what it is..? with screenshot mayb?
Brass and seaweed turned out yo b a gold dragon, and u failed to take into account that i hav the epic breeding island upgraded
Ok, I tried the brass seaweed… And I need 40 gems to speed It up…
Brass and seaweed gets you a platinum every time that’s how I got 5 of them.

So I was doing Brass and Seaweed in EPI and got 24 hrs. and I tried Poison and Crystal in BC and got 48 hrs. I think 48 is Rainbow, but what is 24?
Nevermind, I got Forge and Rainbow, but as soon as Rainbow is finished breeding, I am going to try Lava and Crystal, it sounds good. If I have any luck, I’ll send you pics, just not sure how. P.S. Rainbow was Poison and Crystal in the cave. Talk about rare.

This is ridiculous. I already have all 12 gemstone dragons, so unless another island is added or the current one is expanded, I can NOT get this dragon. I’m sure I’m not the only one having this problem! Are the game designers so shortsighted and greedy that they didn’t realize that if someone already had all 12 gemstone dragons they couldn’t get this one?! Really hoping that this is fixed.

In the Jade dragon’s description in the market, it says that the wizards are working on a way to expand the gemstone island. Be patient! They’ve never failed us!
I got a 38 hr breeding time with brass and seaweed. Not sure what it is.
Rainbow or Gold, if upgraded. No dragon has 38h.

If you read the description of the Jade dragon it says that they are working on that. Probably either a new gem island or upgraded habitats on the existing one.
who says u cant get this dragon if u already have 12 gemstone drag? u can get it but dont mean u can display all of them up. hibernation cave??

How can you say this. For starters the dragon description states they will be expanding the island and secondly this game is FREE. Ok, you can spend money if you want to, but I never have, but I’m stll on level 43, have all the dragons so far except this one, which I will get eventually with time and patience, and I have managed to get all of the islands and items and any upgrades, again with time and patience. I’ve been playing this wonderful little game since just after it came out for ipad, so nearly 2 years, and I think it’s fantastic that Backflip are still coming out with new ideas AND dragons to keep the old players interested in the game as well as the new. Personally I’m really grateful to get something in life for free that helps to add a bit of cheer to life, if you don’t like it don’t play, and if you’re going to gripe make sure it’s relevant
So they will probably have a way to upgrade the gem habitat, just like they have done to every thing witch will be cool because I have like 9 more gem dragons in storing I would like to bring out. And if not since they have done all 12 months they might be doing something new with them

Hey Doc! I’m no scam, but, have you noticed most gem stone dragons are related to a earthly element? Like the pearl dragon, it MUST have water dragon atleast, the most gemstone also colour code, so, like the ruby, I had to breed something with fire atleast, this Jade, I’m gonna say includes cold and plant like the emerald, and possibly lighting. The last element unknown, so, I recommended if anyone wants to join me, try out any PLANT COLD LIGHTING AND EITHER EARTH WITHING, the outcomes could get you emerald or hail, and possible Jade,
gz you get platinum.

I think a combination could be swamp and christal. I’m certain that one of the dragons is a christal but te other could be a swamp or seaweed.

Do you guys not see? There is not a combo yet, due to the fact of the Jade dragon’s description! It says we were surprised, and if a whole nother set of these dragons are coming, we got to buy another island.
Recommended combinations: Bouquet/Ash Lichen/River Poison/Crystal.
One way i got the jade dragon on my third try was using brass and seaweed if you dont believe me try it or look it up in the calculater

Got it first try with River on the left and Forge on the right.
One website a I checked recommended River and Forge. I’ve made two attempts, so far, but haven’t gotten the 24:20:48 time on the EBI (30:26 on a non-upgraded island) that this dragon is supposed to take.

Thanks Doc I have been trying to get it with all of the combos that people post but I’ve had no luck. Someone else online got it but didn’t release the breeding combination but they do have pictures of it in the habitat.
They could have bought it.
I have enough gems to buy it but that doesn’t help.
Unless they have a shot of the egg, I don’t believe any combos.

Hmmm? If you buy with gems, dont you need to wait for the incubating time? It just skips the breeding phase isnt it?
So technically even with buying the dragon will give you a shot of the egg while it is incubating, but does not mean that you breed it yourself? (Does buying with gems instantly give you the dragon? Never tried it, so Im not sure :p)
Even screenshot of the timing while BREEDING wont help as the “Finish Now” window will cover your screen and you cant really tell if its actually legit OR you can just breed a 40h+ dragon and waited till Jade dragons time and take a screenshot lol..
@Dgreg: If you can get to this page, you can find the page for silver olympus, no? :p just type the same thing in google and replace ‘jade’ with ‘silver olympus’ lol :p

all the combos posted in here is legit.. Because I pretty much get all of the dragons that way lol.. Olympus is alittle tough since 3 rare dragons with same combination..I got like 4-5x bronze and 3x gold in a row last time till i kept going to get a silver olympus egg xD thx to that I got all the dragons eggs so far, except few gem dragons =]
so just keep using the same combination, ull get it some day… pray =D

Oh I know right!!! Out of all the one I breed Silver Olimpus was the hardest to get!!
So now I am wondering… With an upgraded breeding habitat how long would it take to get a Jade? I have both breeding areas and both are upgraded
Buying any dragon with gems gives you that dragon instantly. You do not need to wait for it to incubate. That is why getting a screen shot of the egg incubating proves that you bred it and didn’t just buy it.
