The 1st egg is the DragonVale Jade Dragon Egg
Hey guys, I dont have that many gems as to try this theory myself but if someone has a lot of gems and wants to try it… So here it is:
Jadeite (the most valuable of the two types of jade) is simply a Pyroxene, and pyroxenes forms with lave and crystals, that’s how the dark green color of jade comes to be.
Now in the game we do have Lava and Crystal dragons, I don’t know if it would be too obvious for a combo. But at least someone could give it a few tries and maybe post a reply with their results.

Its actually a good reference, but with this dragon available, it means that air or water must be present…so im sorry but i doubt lava crystal works!

Perhaps try cactus combos, the tree on the jade oasis looks exactly like the jade plants in my garden. Jade plants are succulents in the cactus family.

Check dragon calculator and it says that the jade dragon can not be breed at the moment or at this time! Patience we will get our chance, it’s here for 3 months. They are just getting people to spend money on gems and its all for nothing. Wait and see…………….

Doc, looking at what jade is, it is calcium, magnesium and iron, with the iton content determining the level of green it contains. Any ideas!
Sounds like bone and iron to me but I can’t test it both of my breeding caves are full

Shouldn’t be bone though. Can’t get that now. Closest is Coral I think, but no luck with it so far.

If this is true and coral is involved together with iron I expect it would be then coral+ meteor simple just by looking a bit futher.
Meteor and jade are almost the same as baby even the stripe on the head that colours darker.
also i think it might be a combination of four elements to get a dragon like rainbow ; )
What do u think about malachite and iron possible combo?

Good Morning All!
I have gotten a huge variety of different dragons by breeding crystal + lichen. I switch the order and I put them in the cave and on the
EBI. I have gotten 2 suns, maybe an emerald (I HOPE!), Seasonal, and I think I got my spring that way. I read that it is also a good combo for rainbow and silver, but I cannot confirm. Dr. Mac can.
Anyone can add me, but I have only one tree. I am really waiting to buy more trees because I love to gift friends, but I get behind sometimes. I write everyone down to keep track. At least you can use the park for hats : ) (:outdoorsgirl:) I will gift you back, but I have a few people that I have to always gift first because they loyally gift me daily, even when I had my tree on the fritz and had no gems for a few days.

I got rainbow when I put swamp and century and I was only trying to find a way to get jade! Now think, I was trying to get a rainbow for 3 months and had no luck and out of no where I got a rainbow…wow I’m happy

There is a quote on the loading screen that says “it is possible to breed every dragon with the right combo and enough patience” so why would they go back on that

So I’ve read through the thread and you can’t breed this yet. Right? The coral combination makes the most sense because coral is the newest dragon.
I really WANT it to be evergreen and coral, but no luck there. Since crystal and lichen are currently the combo for emerald, I doubt they’d use the same for Jade.
I just tried Iron left and Thunder right and got 35 hrs.. Not sure if that’s the right time but it seems close. 🙂

Doc. 1st I wanna say thank you soo much for all of the help the past year. I come to your site and only your site when any new dragon comes out. By looking at the pic of jade, I can’t help but notice the resemblance of the Panlong. So I’m thinking that plus something with green or metal. Hope this helps you help us lol 🙂

Traditionally they don’t use dragons that are no longer available in the combinations.

And sometimes combos that can breed large hr. dragons. I.e. blue fire and crystal.
Also notice jade has spring dragon eyes. Blur fire is one combo for spring dragon
hmm..if it looks same as spring dragon, wont that apply for panlong and leap year as well? lol..
Been trying swamp + crystal.. dont seem to work.. or maybe i just aint lucky enough yet.. should i try poison n crystal instead Hmmm..
Doc, if you buy the jade dragon, will they send it instantly to the gemstone island/hibernation cave if full? or they will give you the egg to incubate? never used gems to buy a dragon, so im not sure about it.
At what level can you get the eigth island? I read somewhere that it was available for 500,000,000 at level 35, but i just reached level 35 and its not available…

Okay from the clues in the description for Jade. My Fiance and me were thinking about it, he said Salamander cause of the word “Camouflage” and I said Thunder cause of the word “Shock.” It’s just a theory. That I am gonna test out once I get my Thunder dragon. 🙂 So good luck to everyone in trying for Jade.

Just thinking it has lots of long fails. So we would need longer to get it and ash is the 13th plant dragon and sandstorm is the 13th air dragon. Just a wild though…I’m trying it…I’ll let you know. 🙂
