Still haven’t gotten this one. Looking for two people to trade gems with. Been playing for 2 years and I’m at level 50. I play every day. A couple of the people I added for gem trading haven’t traded gems for weeks now. Don’t know if their game is messed up and they are locked out or if they are just scamming me for gems. I do know I give gems every day and there have been a few times I was unable to give gems due to a game malfunction. But it has only been a day and not weeks like these players so I need to replace these players because I’m losing gems each day they don’t play. Thought everyone needed to know the following info on this game.
*Backflip is no longer going to support older devices for this game. Therefore for the people who are still slugging along trying desperately to get into their games in an iPad 1 good luck because Backflip just said “screw you”.
It is getting ridiculous for loyal players who are trying to stay with this game.
Results thus far of cutting off iPad 1 users? ..I have two games going… One on an iPad 1 that a family member abandoned and it crashed 8 times today in my attempt to get into the game. Then I was only in the game for approx 1 1/2 minutes before it crashed again. Forget trying to race because it will take my money, kick me out of the game with a crash and then make me try to get back in via wasting my time with nonstop loading screens that only crash again every time I think I’m finally getting back into the game. This game has basically become unusable because I’m seeing the loading screen far more then actual game play! Thanks for nothing Backflip!
My game on my iPad 2 isn’t fairing much better in terms of easy play. It too crashes and when adding new players to swap gems with it took forever to recognize them and even then it still would not let me give them a gem or see their parks until they gave me a gem first. Then it refused to keep them in both gem giving and visit parks list. The gem giving is all screwed up too. Even though I waited to give a gem to these new friends to make sure it was the same time as my other friends it split the gem allowance times whereas some people get gems in the morning and the others late at night. It has also done freaky things such as telling me i have gens to collect and i go to give gems back when two friends are highlighted to get gems and it blacks out both when i select to give one gem. i have no idea if both people got gems. Then it won’t let me visit their parks.
I’m getting sick of how messed up this game is because they are making it next to impossible to play it. Has anyone else experienced these issues? If so rate the game down and leave a bad review because this seems to be the only thing to wake these app companies up.
unfortunately the problem you are haveing is a dilemma a lot of app makers are having. as the upgrade apps to function better on new technology, it becomes more difficult to work on older technology. it’s a simple matter of hardware. newer hardware is always going to take precedence over older. I had similar issues with my iphone 4 but have not since I upgraded. it sucks but that’s just the way things are. it’s the same with computer software.
I have an ipad2 and never have any problems with this game at all…
I’m still using my iPhone 3 with no problems….. Yet…..
This is why y’all should abandon your Apple obsession and go with Android. My 2nd park is going strong on a 6-7 year old Nook, and it’s doing just as well as my primary park (L 75) on a brand new Droid phone.

After many attempts, I’m finally getting Shadow from Promethium and Light. Coincidentally, I got it right after I leveled up my Light so that it and my Promethium were both Level 15. This makes up slightly for missing the Amethyst!

There has been so many dragons that I needed to breed it’s been great finally to start breeding dark and light dragons. I’ve been putting pairs together where the outcome could be mirage or shadow dragons. I first put in root and light and got all the dragons and eggs but no shadow. I moved to miamsa and light, got a motley then the shadow dragon. Yay! Miamsa lvl 15 and light lvl 14. Nothing at the moment with the mirage. I’ve used dark and glare & dark and heat. Got all the dragons and eggs but no mirage. Oh well. Trying dark and palladium hope that one is the ticket.
I tried many combos too but I just got it with Gamma (15) and Dark (17) at the SECOND try!!!! Good luck!
I meant the “mirage dragon” not the “Shadow”…. Still trying for Shadow…
Oh boy, all this time I’ve been using Palladium, not Promethium. So much wasted time and gems, lawdy.
