Pepper and Obsidian worked for me. Both level 15 in regular cave. 🙂
Wow! thank you so much.. tried level 15 Pepper & Level 10 Earth in EBC since the start of March, and been getting everything but the Carnival Dragon.
First try with Level 15 Pepper & Level 10 Obsidian in the regular breeding cave and I got the Carnival Dragon. Thanks again mate.

Easy I think pepper and any combo that has earth would work I just got 2 12 hour breeding time from using pepper/earth and pepper/lava first try on both. I hope they’re both carnival dragon
It has to be 12hrs to be a carnival dragon… good luck on getting it though!
actaully i thought i got carnival… but with these combinations moss is also possible with 12 hr… i really want to get this dragon 🙁
I am level 14 right now. I am serious about this though. I had Sun and platinum on old file. I can’t get this dragon for some reason. I have been trying pepper and obsidian
It could also be a moss dragon.
Great. Can’t wait till march. As sure as I’m getting moss, rather than other dragons now, I will definitely be getting moss in march, when trying for carnival (if they even have it still) Just another one to look forward to not getting.

Just got my carnival dragon on second breed with pepper at lvl15 and earth at lvl 12. Could someone tell me how to get this aquarmarine dragon. They are both lvl 16. Should I rebreed or switch them every go or every two goes? Thanks

Margaret… I used the iceberg – river dragons both at level 13 to get the aquamarine dragon! My bf got it with the opposite combo same levels. Hope this helps! 🙂
How many times did it take you? What I really need to know is it best to hit rebreed or put the dragons back in and press breed?

What am I doing wrong? Three days now with level 15 Earth and Pepper and all I have are trees, pepper and the occasional plant. Help??
I got 2 out of 5 tries with Clover (10) and Pepper (15) on my EBI. You can breed Pepper with any dragon that has an Earth element (preferably with Fire or Plant). Hope that helps you!
Pepper level 18 and Lava level 19 showed a 10 hr breed time and was pleasantly surprised with a Carnival egg.
Been trying for 3 days straight to get this dragon peeper and earth no luck anyone…….
I got 2 Carnivals out of 5 tries with Clover(10) and Pepper(15) on the EBI. You can breed Pepper with any dragon that has an Earth element. Just make sure it’s an Earth that has Fire or Plant. Hope this helps!

After many fails with Pepper & Earth, Pepper & Obsidian, and Pepper & Forest, I finally got a Carnival with Pepper & Cotton. 🙂

Been breeding pepper and earth for days in both breeding spots with no luck.:( Maybe I’ll give pepper obsidian a shot next time
Update (in case anyone’s interested) : got carnival dragon on my second try with pepper and obsidian. Haha I don’t know it might have just been coincidence that pepper and earth hadn’t been workin out but I got it now so I’m not complaining! 🙂
Hey guys, I haven’t been doing DragonVale for too long, so my highest dragon is level 11… I know it sucks. But I have been trying lvl 11 Pepper, and lvl 10 Earth. Sorry, but it’s the best I have. So, I did that, and surprisingly it worked! But I really want a Double Rainbow. I am still only on level 16 myself, but can get the Double Rainbow, just having trouble coming up with it. I always come up with a different dragon. Anyone else with this problem? Anyone know a good breeding combination?
It’s true about the single elemental dragons(fire, plant, earth, etc.) getting good dragons; For instance, not even a half hour ago I used Plant and Copper for the hell of it, because I still don’t have Malachite, nor Ironwood, over the 3 months I’ve had this game, using all combos to no avail, and rather than the usual dragons, I got 1:14:00:00 in the regular cave(which is 38hrs × .20(20%) = 7.6hrs + 38.0hrs = 45.6hrs, when upgraded), or 1:21:36:00. I’m assuming Bronze? Yet, then it would be off by about a half hour. I’ve also noticed that I’ve been having better luck breeding dragons when I’m not trying for any and just picking my own combo’s. It’s more fun and less frustrating. Anyway, good luck everyone! 🙂

Does Pepper have to be at level 15? I’m new to the game and have been trying for a few days.
I’ve bred pepper and obsidian 6 times now and still no luck
I bred Tree and Flower and I think I’m going to get a Carnival. Unless it’s a Moss. Haven’t figured out yet, but I will post again when I do!
