Dragonvale: How to Breed an Thunderbird Dragon
*Because these new Rift dragons are going to take a long time for me to breed and hatch, I am just going to post the suggested guidelines for now for each, and update as I have success (but you guys are smart, you should be able to figure it out from this!) 🙂

How to Breed: The breeding pair of dragons must contain the lightning and earth elements, and at least one parent must posses a fire trait.
This dragon can only be bred within the rift

I bred the lava rift with the earth rift and got it first try.
What alignment did you use?
i used lvl 9 obsidian with a fire trait (earth rift+fire rift) and lvl 4 quake (earth rift+ lightning rift) with an air trait and got it first try.
I got it first try crystal and poison rift dragon
So I got him using a level 11 Crystal with lightning trait and a level 15 Fire Rift during the Fire Alignment.
I have 3 rifts to go!!
I got the Crystal using Earth and Lightning rifts in Fire Alignment.
Used lvl 6 Scorch dragon with fire trait and lvl 13 earth rift dragon during Dark alignment, just got it then
Bred it with lava dragon with fire trait and electric rift during dark alignment. Took a couple days but I got it. Next up is lacuna and antumbra, and have marked plumewing thunderbird and kampos off the list. Also keep on getting rainbow and double rainbow so often im forced to sell them…
I got the Thunderbird Dragon using a Crystal Dragon ( Level 13 with a Fire Trait) and a Fire Rift Dragon ( Level 20). The Rift alignment was Light.
I bred this using the Lightning Rift dragon, and a Dodo dragon that had a fire trait. The alignment at the time was Plant. It took only 2 attempts, unlike Veridian dragon. No luck yet for weeks now.
I just bred it after trying many of the combinations above. My success came with a Lava Dragon, Level 10 with the Fire Trait, and a Quake Dragon, Level 10 with the Fire Trait. The Rift Alignment was Lightning.
