What’s wrong with this picture?


Hint: There’s a giant yellow arrow pointing at it.

Faithful Macenstein reader The Larch sent in an oddity he noticed while surfing the Apple online store. It seems for whatever reason, Apple is depicting the iPhone with the volume/mute switch on the opposite side – the iPhone’s LEFT instead of its RIGHT (assuming the iPhone is looking at you).

We’re assuming this was done to look better compositionally on the store’s layout, sort of making the iPhone look “in” to the center of the page, but given today’s litigious society (especially towards Apple) we expect a slew of lawsuits from left-handed people who thought they were purchasing the iPhone of their dreams.

    I’m pretty sure what happened was that they only took the picture from one side, than mirrored everything on the image, but added the screen content right-way-round for the apple store photo.
