Macenstein

Well, as you may have noticed (but odds are you didn’t) Macenstein fell under a spamming attack this evening the likes of which the Mac community has not seen since the mighty Malcor last pretended to clash with Apple Matters. Now, we think the problem is under control, but even if it is not, and we should once again fall, I just want to send a very public and sincerely felt “Thank You” to Arn from Mac Rumors, who not only held my hand while I knelt crouched over, vomiting into the toilet bowl that IS WordPress Query logs and .htaccess files, but who actually managed to figure out how to get us up and running. And it only took him 2 hours of his time. Thank GOD this didn’t happen the night before Macworld.

So thanks again, Mr. Kim. I think we both learned something tonight. I learned about using Terminal to block attacks, and you likely learned to ignore all future IM’s from me. I’m sure both lessons will prove invaluable in our lives.
