Apple’s stores are all about Windows
If there’s one thing we can take away from these shots of Apple’s Sydney store sent to us by faithful Macenstein reader Sean Littler, it’s that Apple loves Windows.

Yes, taking a page from Apple’s NYC and Boston stores, Apple’s Sydney store is ironically all about Windows.

Not the Apple Store in San Louis Obispo.

wow that’s a horrible pun.
Everyone knows that it wasn’t until Apple allowed Windows on Macs that they really started to sell well. Steve Jobs knows: Windows sells Macs.
Brad, there’s no such thing s a horrible pun.

very nice pun~
Actually, “horrible pun” is a tautology.
Not so at the new Apple Store here in Vancouver, not a single window.
STOP! You’re PUNishing me!
no such thing as a pourable hun.
Everyone (the better versed) knows that Apple invented windows in an early UI. Micosoft just “invented” the word with a capital letter.
I’ll still take the Regent Street, London store any day of the week

“Better versed?”
Xerox’ PARC, and before them Doug Englebart will likely take exception to someone saying Apple created the (small w) window.
The even-more better versed know that it was the Xerox Alto and Star that had the first GUI for an operating system.
The best-versed know that the first GUI featuring windows was developed by the same guy that invented the mouse, Douglas Engelbart, who envisioned a world driven by “graphical windowed environments”.
i have just arrived home from my epic adventure to the depths of the new apple store and i must say it is freaking amazing. i really feel bad for the two other stores around the corner. The staff are really enthusiastic and friendly and the genius bar is monstrous, i would say they had over 130 staff there for the opening.
