Macenstein turns 3 and we’re giving YOU presents!
Below are links to 33 amazing stories we have written over the years, each a Pulitzer candidate in their own right. Underneath each link is a number that corresponds to an alphanumeric character (that’s letters and numbers, kids) in the story (excluding spaces and punctuation marks). The clues are in the body of the text only, so do not count the stories’ titles, dates or authors in your figuring.
For example, in the story entitled, Just 10 days ’till Leopard “Ultimate†Edition, if you were given the number 100, the corresponding secret code letter would be “d”, for the “d” in “used”. Note, we did not count the “!”, “,”, or “(” or spaces. Text embedded in images does not count either. And just to be extra tricky, you may find that even after you unscramble each word, the order of the words themselves may be mixed up.
For example, imagine after decoding 10 of these you end up with a sentence that says “iwi em a gevi”. It’s gibberish, right? But unscramble that, and it might read “Give me a Wii”. (see how each word is scrambled, as well as the order of the words themselves?). Just remember, please count carefully! Being off even one letter will make this a lot harder on you!
Make sense? No? too bad. Let’s play!

Well there you have it. Once you have successfully decoded this secret phrase, (meaning you have all the words, and have unscrambled them) please E-mail us your answer. Thanks for playing, tell your friends, and good luck to all!
so how do we submit our correct answers?
Kudos on the choice of phrase.
Best of luck to you all. 🙂
Where/How do we send the answer? I don’t want to leave it as a posted comment do I?
Um.. that looks just complicated enough that I think I should wait till morning to read…
Congrats on 3 years, I’ve only been a real fan for about 6-12 months, but I keep coming back because I can read the same things on MR or AI, but MACENSTEIN always has something fun and different! Keep up the good work…trust me I have learned (the hard way) it’s a lot more work than it looks like from the outside to keep a site like this up and running!
Hey Guys. the 2nd to last line on the post says “ E-mail us your answer. ” Click that (or this link) to send in your answers. Thanks!

Like the Doctor says, be careful how you count.
I stumbled on a word or two. 😉
I noticed the first page says the answer has six words, but the second page seems to indicate the answer has ten words. Is this an error, or part of the puzzle?
microsith,
the phrase is ten words.
do the titles count in the number count
I’m curious to see who won now. 😛
