  5. darrell says:

one halloween i sucked on a caramel candy. and this thing had some girth. the size of it made me heave a little and i spat it in my hand and threw it out into my driveway. to quickly offset the taste as i munched on some Laysâ„¢ original potato chips and the combination of sticky caramel and iodizing salt was to die for!

after about a month or so i had to scrape the caramel off of the driveway because, along with the cold weather it hardened into a cement-like texture.

  6. Stacy says:

    Snickers!

  7. ArKay says:

Reeses are good… but around Halloween it’s only the nasty powdery ones. Kit Kats are OK, but they aren’t peanut buttery enough.

Clark Bars. They are the combination of crunchy, flaky peanut butter and chocolate to make my Halloween special. 5th avenue works in a pinch and Butterfinger make for a sticky third, but Clark Bars are the one candy that made it a holiday for me.

  8. Dan says:

I always loved to get a Zero bar from this one house. Not because they’re my favorite candy, but because I finally found someone else who bought them. As far as I know, we were only two keeping that line alive.

  13. Chris Rohde says:

It was always a toss up… Candy Corn (or their pumpkin-shaped brethren) are delicious and plentiful… but on a rare occasion you might get a Chunky, now those are super.

    OK ready..?
My FAVORITE Halloween treat was vodka, gin, or whisky, not in that order. We had this crazy old alcoholic lady on our block and randomly she would give out those little mini bottles you get on the airplanes, which was just enough to get me drunk and go stumbling around the neighborhood getting more candy with my friends, then we would get home and see who could eat all theirs first!

  15. Virion says:

    reese’s peanut butter cups

I’d secretly sneak them from the bowl when I was a kid before I went out.

  16. Cliff Worthington says:

3 Musketeers for sure, but not those tiny ‘fun sizes’.

  17. Jon says:

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. But they had to be moist, sometimes you would get an old one and the peanut butter inside would be hard and pasty. So fresh Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. And a glass of milk.

  18. Bor says:

The Good old “set a screenshot as desktop”!

  19. Nick McCabe says:
