“The 12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaway: Day 16
[Thank you, we have our winner, this contest is now closed.Congratulations to faithful Macenstein reader RonW!]
On the Sixteenth Day After Christmas, Macenstein gave to you (or, more accurately, gave you a chance to win…) A 2.1 Stereo Orb Speaker from mStation!

Above: mmmmm…. spherical….
Are you tired of “square”-sounding audio? Then you are gonna love the Orb! This Sleek and Stylish “Made for iPod†Desktop Docking Station/ Speaker System packs a powerful thumping Bass that only a Dedicated Subwoofer can produce. Every Orb includes a 10 Key Remote that allows you to navigate within Playlists from a distance, as well as adjust the Volume ±, Bass and Treble. At approx 8 inches in diameter the mStation 2.1 Stereo Orb is the perfect addition to any Home, Office, or Dorm Room.
The mStation 2.1 Stereo Orb comes in 7 different colors to match your mood (White, Black, Blue, Green, Pink, Red, and Silver) but we hope you’re feeling white, ’cause I think that’s the color your getting (not sure yet).
To enter: Since choosing which color Orb speaker you’d want is one of the toughest decisions anyone could be forced to make, we’ve got a much easier question for you. If you and your entire immediate family were on a sinking ship, and you could only save one of them, who would it be? (C’mon, you know you have a favorite! Mom, Dad, Son, Daughter, Brother, Sis? Don’t worry, they don’t read Macenstein, and we won’t tell). Winners will be picked randomly 7 days later and notified (kind of like in The Ring, only with less killing… we hope). Open to US and Canadian readers only. Good luck, and thanks for reading Macenstein! (Oh, and be sure to enter ALL our “12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaways!)
Please note: Comments may take a while to show up, please do not double-post. Thanks!
I wouldn’t save any of them because I assume that if I could survive and save one person, then at least two members of my family could survive if I sacrificed myself. So I’d probably say that in place of me, my wife would survive and then I’d put the question squarely on her shoulders because I couldn’t carry that burden.
But probably we’d all die.
Damn, that really is a tough question. I think I’m gonna have to go with a sibling.
First one ready!
My brother, I guess – since he’s only 11. At least I think that’s what my parents would want me to do…
My sister!
sister
Probably my younger sister. Everybody else could probably fend for themselves. 😛
mom.
my sister can swim.
i don’t really know about my dad.
my daughter.
I’d save my brother. He’s fun, young, and has a bright future. Besides, given my mom’s body type, she should have no trouble floating. :-X Other than my dad, that’s my entire family.
my mom… because she can’t swim…
My wife; I love my family but frankly she’s more important to me.
I have super powers, so I’d save everybody 😉
None. they can all fend for themselves.
mom, it’s what you’re supposed to do
My mom.
Wife, then maybe she could help me save the kids.
mom was a life guard, dad was in the army,
i guess by brother
I’d save my girlfriend, since all of the other alternatives are not as good.
…
What? At least I’m honest.
oh, you cruel bastard. These will be interesting to read! Well, yesterday this would have been a tougher question, but last night my brother broke my iPod touch, so I am saving my sister.
🙂
myself, just to be sure I’ll certainly get out of there! Double my luck
I would save our idiotic Bichon Frise. She’s okay with eating, pooping and sleeping, but she’d need help in the rescuing department.
sadly, everyone in my family can swim. D:
I’ll probably be the one in need of saving.
But… I’ll save my dog if I can. haha
Like this contest, the family member will be picked randomly.
i like ^
random would work for me too. hahaa.
probably my brother.
None. They can swim so I would just get the heck out of there.
my mommy!
i would have it be random
My younger brother. He’s the best one to have indebted to me 🙂
I cant swim. I would probably go down with the ship.
Sister
My son.. he’s only 1 month old
My Dad
My mum. She’s always been there for me. (Hmm these questions are getting more challenging from a ethical point of view) ;p
My macbook pro! 😀
Well, I probably go for my sister, but it really wouldn’t matter, since I’m the worst swimmer in the family..
Oh and BTW, can I have some whipped cream with the seven scoops of ice cream up there?
My 4 year old, the rest can fend for themselves.
my baby son.
Is this before or after getting married? Before getting married, my dad… after getting married, my wife :P.
My wife.
My sister — I know my parents would approve.
the sibling…
My daughter
My brother. I’ve always looked out for him since we were kids. I believe it’s something my parent would want and understand if the crap hit the fan..so to speak 😉
I really don’t know, I try to help for my closest (in distance) family member, I think…..
My sister because she is the weaskest swimmer
“Open to US and Canadian readers only”
Youhouuuuuuuuuuu ! 😀
I don’t have to make a choice for ti since i can’t have one 🙂
my dog
My baby brother.
This is one seriously sick question.
I’ll go with my mom.
