“The 12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaway: Day 19
[Thank you, we have our winner. This contest is now closed. Congratulations to faithful Macenstein reader James.]
On the Nineteenth Day After Christmas, Macenstein gave to you (or, more accurately, gave you a chance to win…) An Audioengine W2 (AW2) Premium Wireless Adapter for iPhone and iPod from Audioengine!
Audioengine, a company long known for its high-quality A5 studio speakers has entered the wireless audio game with their W2 wireless adapter for iPhones and iPods. The Audioengine W2 sets a new level of quality and ease-of-use for wireless audio. I’m currently testing one of these out and it’s pretty sweet. The AW2 is a snap to set up (basically, plug the transmitter into your iPhone/iPod touch/nano/classic, and plug the receiver into your speaker/home stereo input, and you’re done!). You are now free to walk around the house using your iPhone’s iPod app to control your music. The AW2 is pre-configured out of the box so there are no buttons to push and no software to configure. Your iPod and all its controls are right there with you and you can also add extra receivers to other audio systems around the house and “hop” between each. The AW2 Receiver is unobtrusive and easily fits on the back of any stereo system so you can finally get rid of that clunky dock. Oh, and it works for movies too, so even though you may be stuck with a small screen, you can still have BIG sound!
To enter: Since Audioengine has the word “engine” in it, and since I am running out of clever things to ask that tenuously link to the prize we’re giving away, leave us a comment with the coolest vehicle you have ever seen, be it from TV/Moves/Video games, or even real life. Winners will be picked randomly 7 days later and notified (kind of like in The Ring, only with less killing… we hope). Open to US readers only. Good luck, and thanks for reading Macenstein! (Oh, and be sure to enter ALL our “12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaways!)
Please note: Comments may take a while to show up, please do not double-post. Thanks!

The Dodge Tomahawk – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Tomahawk
At the 2003 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, Dodge unveiled a vehicle with an unusual design, featuring the 500 hp (373 kW) 8.3 L V10 engine from the Dodge Viper. The vehicle has two front wheels and two rear wheels, making it a kind of motorized quadricycle rather than a typical motorcycle.
Engine 10-cylinder 90-degree V-type, liquid-cooled, 505 in³ (8275 cc)
356-T6 aluminum alloy block with cast-iron liners, aluminum alloy cylinder heads
Bore x Stroke: 4.03 by 3.96 in (102 x 101 mm)
Two pushrod-actuated overhead valves per cylinder with roller-type hydraulic lifters
Sequential, multi-port electronic fuel injection with individual runners
Compression Ratio: 9.6:1
Max Engine Speed: 6000 rpm
Oil System: Dry Sump; takes 8 quarts (8 L) Mobil 1 10W30 Synthetic
Cooling System: Twin aluminum radiators mounted atop engine intake manifolds, force-fed from front-mounted, belt-driven turbine fan. Takes 11 quarts (10 L) of antifreeze.
Exhaust System: Equal-length tubular stainless steel headers with dual collectors and central rear
Top speed 350 miles per hour (560 km/h)
Power 500 bhp (373 kW) @ 5600 rpm (45 kW/L); 525 ft·lbf (712 Nm) @ 4200 rpm
Transmission 2-speed manual
Tires Front (2): 20×4 Size, Rear (2): 20×5 Size
Wheelbase 76 inches (1,900 mm)
Seat height 29 inches (740 mm)
Weight 1,500 pounds (680 kg)
Fuel capacity 3.25 US gallons (12.3 L)
Fuel Requirement: Unleaded premium, 93 octane (R+M/2)
According to the official specs 0-60 mph times have been estimated at 2.5 seconds, with an estimated top speed of 350 mph. But there are also reports that the top speed is 676 km/h (about 420 mph). It is very unlikely that anyone will ever test the vehicle, due to safety concerns and the price of the Tomahawk itself. Dodge has expressed interest in one day taking it to the Bonneville salt flats, but as of yet has not.
