Celebrity Mac Chick Sighting Revisited: Carrie Underwood - Macenstein

Celebrity Mac Chick Sighting Revisited: Carrie Underwood

You may remember last August when we ridiculed Carrie Underwood for still sporting the “old” iPhone a full month after the latest and greatest came out. Well, obviously Miss Underwood, being an avid Macenstein reader, finally stopped crying and got herself to the Apple store for an upgrade.

Sorry for being so cruel Carrie – it’s called “tough love”, and I think you’ll admit you’re better off now. Off topic: Anyone else catching an “Emily Osment” vibe in these pics? Or am I the only one here watching Hannah Montana?

The best that you’ve got today, Macenstein, is a shot of Carrie Underwood with a partial glimpse of an iPhone?

I used to frequent your site daily. Since you’ve restructured your page, it takes twice as long to load and when it does, I’m bombarded with ads and a cluttered, poorly designed amalgamation of drab colors and junk. Content has been similarly disappointing and usually amounts to no more than Mimobots and/or celebrities.

And finally, don’t you think that both any utility and humor to be achieved by your request to raise 6 million dollars wore out long ago?

Come on, Doc, get it together. Get some interesting stories and Mac chicks on here, cut down on the ads, and make the page faster. Thanks.

I think the ads have been a bit overpowering. On this particular visit, I see four banner ads in four separate places for Alltell Wireless. I still enjoy Macenstein.com for my daily dose of Mac news.

On one positive note – I do frequent other blogs, and at least you’re not like the Cult of Mac where I receive about 12 posts a day on average clogging up my RSS feed. Good Lord, there’s no need for 12 posts to a blog a day. Most is generally fluff.

MCOTM is a nice part of this site, but it’s not what keeps me coming back.
