  1. How about the iRub? (my son’s idea).

  2. seearees says:

    the iPad is better and makes more sense than any other name out there, especially iSlate

  3. darrell says:

    @seearees

    better than iBook or Apple Canvas?

  4. ssj2_goha says:

    @darrell Yes!

  5. Jonro says:

    I think it will be called the iPhone Grande.

  6. seearees says:

    I think apple canvas might be the worst I’ve heard yet and iBook has been used before so it wouldn’t make sense to use it for something completely different.

    I’m actually over the “i” in front of names. They should just go with the MacTouch and the MacTouch Pro.

  7. biblezombie says:

    I like MacPad or MacTouchPad

    I heard Steve Ballmer just introduced the PC version it is called the Windows CrashPad

  8. Quinton says:

    iPatch!! i just couldnt resist

  9. Florian says:

    What about the iMacPadTouchBookCanvas?

  10. Ethan says:

    Using a Mac name doesn’t really work. I doubt this thing will be a Mac. It will definitely run a beefed up iPhone OS X. So…names with Mac in them are out.

  11. Erik says:

    MacBook Touch is the only name that makes sense

  12. dE says:

    I think Newton X would suite the tablet

  13. fractured says:

    I quite like MacTouch, but I suspect it will be an “i” something, but not iSomething. iSlate seems likely. iTouch just sounds like a confession.

  17. Apple choosing iPad as the name in no way make the name less stupid.
