“The 12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaway: Day 17 – Radioshift

This contest is closed. Congrats to faithful Macenstein reader Heather.

On the Seventeenth Day After Christmas, Macenstein gave to you (or, more accurately, gave you a chance to win…) Your very own copy of Radioshift from the good folks at Rogue Amoeba!

Like a personal video recorder (PVR) for radio, Radioshift enables 1000’s of internet and AM/FM radio stations to be recorded automatically and listened to at any time.

Radioshift 1.5 brings support for thousands of web streams previously only available via web players, including some of the world’s most popular stations. The built-in Radio Guide makes it a snap to subscribe to programs with a single click. Radioshift then runs in the background, recording and saving audio automatically. Over 100,000 programs and stations from around the world are right at your fingertips with the built-in Radio Guide. And with Radioshift, streams from many different audio formats are all accessible in one convenient player, including the Windows Media, QuickTime, MP3 and RealAudio formats!

To enter: Since Radioshift is all about time shifting, leave us a comment telling us If you had the ability to travel through time, what would you do? (Yeah yeah, we’d all kill Hitler, but what next?) Winners will be picked randomly 7 days later and notified (kind of like in The Ring, only with less killing… we hope). Open to all readers world-wide. Good luck, and thanks for reading Macenstein! (Oh, and be sure to enter ALL our “12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaways!)
Please note: Comments may take a while to show up, please do not double-post. Thanks!
