t-boned by a car while riding bicycle and snapped both bones in my shin clean through….my friend had to hold the floppy leg while the paramedics stabilized it!

  2. lizborden says:

    Knife thru my right foot

  3. Howard says:

    Struck by lightning.

  4. Dick Nick says:

Most annoying was a badly sprained knee. Tough walking for a couple of months. Luckily no tearing of ligaments.

  5. justin says:

I’ve broken both wrists. Not at the same time, but roller blading both times. I don’t roller blade anymore.

  6. dlowe402 says:

When I was a wee lad, i had this dirtbike. One warm summer day my friends and I were riding our motorcycles through some trails on my friend Mikey’s property. I was trying to get around Mikey on the trail because he was going too slow so I cut across a field through some tall grass when all of the sudden, my front wheel located a cut off cedar stump. As you might guess the bike stopped very abruptly. I, however did not. I continued through the air doing a perfect flip and landing in the worst spot possible. I came to a rest on my back in the middle of a rather large cactus. I was covered from the base of my helmet to the top of my boots with large cactus needles. We have these “Prickly Pear” cactus here and the fully grown needles can get to the size of a pencil lead. I had to ride home with a bent front tire, standing and my mother got to pull them out for me. About 6 years later, I had a needle work it’s way out of my leg. AHH, the joys of growing up!

  7. David says:

a huge bruise on my shin bone…

  8. Charlie says:

Had a glass bottle explode in my face and cut my eyelid, luckily it didn’t get in my eye

  9. Andrew says:

Worst injury-breaking front teeth Diving for a basketball. It didn’t hurt too bad at the time, but all the following visits to the dentists and oral surgeons made up for it. A more unique story-shot in the leg with a 2.5 inch framing nail.

  10. Macgyyver says:

torn MCL and PCL ligaments. Y2K was great until then.

  11. Jose C. Murillo says:

The worst injury I ever had, was when I was six years old. I was on the back side of a bicycle. Closed my legs and bam! I put a foot inside the back wheel. So, a nice cut on my ankle and an emergency surgery. But hey, lucky me, I didn’t cut the tendon, so now I can perfectly stand on my feet! 😀

  12. Ziggar says:

when i was about 12 years old i was going down a very steep hill, very fast, on my chopper bike with my mate on the back. we hit a big stone on the path, the bike crumpled, we slid forward , and the gear stick hit me full in the happy sack.

that was the first time i had ever experienced the pain of being forcibly smacked in the love department

tears rolled down my face and my body reverted to the featal position immediately whiile rolling about moaning and groaning in agony

it was a long, slow, painfull walk home
having to drag both my broken bike and my damaged pleasure dome all the way home

  13. Chris says:

Boxer break on my right hand while in the service. A close second would be the dog bight on my left hand while in the service. I was a dog handler and one of them didn’t like to be handled too much. So, he grabbed my hand. The k-9’s went all the way through too.

  14. Simon says:

    just to name a few…

    1. electrocuted myself
    2. cut my knee open with a hand saw, resulting in lots of blood and pain.
    3. passed out in the shower, slipped, fell out of the shower face first onto the concrete tiled floor.
    4. jammed by finger in the door on several occassions.
    5. Had a 16kg box fall on me as i tried to get it off the top shelf of a compactus (google it).
    6. had a test tube explode and shatter in my face, covering my face in glass and hot, concentrated hydrochloric acid

    just to name a few…

  15. Gonzalo says:

a hit in my knees. BOTH

  16. Chris says:

Broke my foot in high school. Over-rotated a front tuck in gymnastics class. Ouch.

  17. Clifford Sadler says:

Did the splits and wrenched my knee when my Motorcycle slipped out from under me on a oil slick that had been recently received a dousing from a errant sprinkling system. My knee still give me troubles years after.

  18. Matt says:

    Skull fracture!

    Stay out of Tijuana kids.

  19. imajoebob says:

I once busted my elbow in a baseball game. Then I played 4 more innings, going 3 for 3 including a double and a home run. I finally had to pull myself when it froze up while I sat in the dugout while our team rallied.

That was the most impressive, but one of the more painful was when I slipped on the ice shoveling the drive way. I almost caught myself using the shovel, sorta like a cane, but instead ripped the snot out of my shoulder.

  20. Paul says:

Fell down a tree when I was six and had an 8 inch gash in my upper thigh.

  21. Nomis says:

    nothing special actually

Dropped an industrial power drill, and of course it landed bit first right in my ankle.

    Lost a toenail

I suffered a concussion a few years ago

  28. Noah Grove says:

the worst injury I have had (knock on wood) was when I decided it was a good idea to go skateboarding down the road in front of our house, forgetting all about the railroad tracks at the bottom of the hill… after bailing, I realized that road rash sucks, but picking gravel and asphalt out of road rash is horrible

  29. Kurt says:

Worst injury that I’ve had was probably the second time I met my ex-wife’s parents. On my way out of their door, I missed a step on the front walk, fell about 3 feet, broke one ankle and sprained the other at the same time.

The next 2 months sucked.. and I never lived it down. >.<

  30. Terry says:

Luckily no worse than a sprain. With that said, I do get occasional muscle spasms in my back, which are no fun at all 🙁

  31. criest says:

I was kicked by the camel in the zoo when i was small. =(
really hurt for 2 years. >.<

  32. regularg0nz0 says:

I was shot many tens of times at close range by a gang of thugs who had pistols and shotguns, mostly intentionally fired directly into my vest to crush me. They blew off my entire hand and ended with a single bullet through he brain. Luckily, my employer was able to replace most of my body with a mechanical replacement.

Or was that in some movie I saw once?

  33. k19s says:

    Sprained ankle

  34. mario says:

Testicular torsion. Yes, it’s real. Yes, it hurts.

  35. mestre says:

torn ligaments in the underside of my heel – got me off sport for ever at school (result!)

  36. Mikko says:

A 1 cm thick iron stick (in concrete) stuck itself in my foot. Didn’t go all the way through, though. 😀

  37. anthy says:

I was bitten by a cat, in one of those “adopt a pet” kiosks in a pet store. My own fault for sticking my fingers in there when I’d been handling catnip toys. Washed and bandaged it immediately – still swelled up twice its size, and I ended up in the emergency room the next day. They had to cut/drain it and keep me overnight on an antibiotic IV. Couldn’t type with that hand for a week, and it cost me $800+ even with insurance.

    Don’t take cat bites lightly.

    Thank you for the contest!

  38. Car accident !
Hit by a « i wanna make up » woman from behind.

  39. brad says:

    paper cut

  40. Marlon Callejas says:

Skinned my chin as a child and as a baby had surgery of something but nothing else… Thank God xD!!!

  46. Min says:

broke my leg while skateboarding when I was in high school

  49. Nate says:

A concussion from hitting my head on a piece of gym equipment!

  50. Dave says:

i broke my wrist once…amazing, considering all the stupid thing I’ve done..
