Wow! You can’t BUY this kind of publicity!
And unfortunately for Apple, you also can’t pay to have it removed, either.

As amazing as Duct Tape is, I know one thing it CAN’T fix, and that’s the iPhone’s reputation, assuming Apple doesn’t man up and get that recall going soon.
Although the duct tape may not work, the Ove Glove fixed of mine he references in the article does! Hooray for my 15 seconds of fame on a front page CNN article.
I hate making typo / mistakes in comments. I really should read them before hitting submit.
No need for a recall nothing wrong with iPhone have had my iPhone 4 since launch no problem…
Bad News Steve: I think your period button is broken.
Heck, just wear latex gloves when you make phone calls.
Jonro, I tried latex gloves in the same post CNN linked to…no luck with those either.
It still amazes me that everyone wants to make such a big deal about the iPhone 4’s reception issues when for the most part it gets BETTER reception than any other mobile phone; and pretty much every mobile phone with internal antennas, and some with external antennas, reception will be affected by how they are held or even which direction you are facing. If you want reception unaffected by how you hold your mobile phone, or which direction you face, install external antennas on your car, home, and workplace.
I doubt you’ll hear ham radio operators complain about the iPhone 4’s antenna because they have a good understanding of antenna principles in general.
The iPhone 4 may or may not get better reception, but that is not the basis for the recall conversation. Facts are facts, Jobs said this new antenna design is “magical” and something never done before. Well now we know why, its a turd design. They have to fix it, fix it now and drop the f-ing BS machine.
Oh and yes I have an iPhone 4 and I always put a case on my phone, but it is a defective design, they knew it be defective and built a case that is being pushed for $30 when it cost Apple $1 to make.
