Macenstein’s “Mac Chick of the Month” (January 2011): Monica Roach
Welcome to Macenstein‘s “Mac Chick of the Month”. Each month we feature a different die-hard, Mac-loving girl who is (almost) as well designed as the Apple products they love. This month we present you with the lovely Monica, a clinical assistant and of course, a die-hard Mac Chick!
“Hi my name is Monica, I turned 25 this past August. I am originally from Vassalboro Maine, a little town in central Maine of only about 4,000 people, so pretty small!!! I moved to St. Louis in the winter of 2009 and have been here ever since and I love it, it’s a great place to live, there is always something to do in the city, especially in the the summertime. ”
“Right now I am working full time as as clinical assistant and I am really enjoying that, there is a lot to learn if you can imagine but it is a very rewarding job.”
Name: Monica Roach
Location: St. Louis
Occupation: clinical assistant
First Apple purchase: iPod classic
Favorite Apple Gear: my iPod touch
Favorite non-Apple gear: None
Favorite TV Shows: CSI-NY, The Nanny, Supernatural, and my all time favorite is Friends!!!
Favorite Movies: I watch a lot of movies, a couple of my favorites would probobly be; The Hangover, Wedding Crashers and I love the movie, The Notebook, but what girl doesn’t!!
Favorite Bands: I’m definitely a music addict, I love Country music! Some of my favorite country bands are Rascal Flats, David Nail, and I really enjoy listening to Keith Urban. When I’m working out though I like to listen to something a little more upbeat such as Chevelle, Incubus and sometimes maybe even some Audioslave if I’m a little fired up!!!
Hobbies: Some of my hobbies include; in the winter I love to tan, it’s so relaxing! I enjoy spending time with my friends, going to a club and dancing is always a good time. In the summer I enjoy going to Cardinal baseball games, swimming, going to beach if the opportunity presents itself, I enjoy the St. Louis Zoo, going to concerts and visiting the city when the weather is nice!
The first apple product that I bought was the Apple IPhone, I used to have a Blackberry Curve and after switching to the IPhone the simple things such as; texting, checking my email, weather, facebook, ect became so much easier and convenient. My favorite Apple gear has to be my IPod, I use it a lot around the house when doing laundry or cleaning and especially when I running or working out!!

Due to popular demand, we are proud to offer a MCotM desktop wallpaper to enhance the beauty of YOUR Mac.
thanks doc. Loved the last pic!
Not very cute but a smokin’ hot body!
Is this an Ad for iHome?
Actually, I have the same speakers. Mine don’t look nearly as nice somehow…
Jerry, I was going to say the same thing!
Odd though, makes me want a black iPhone now :-/
Thanks, Doc, I was getting tired of Pale and Blonde.
I find it odd she didn’t have a favorite non-apple product given how prominently the iHome is shown off in the pictures.
Also, while I personally use images of my girlfriend for my iPhone wall paper and iMac’s desktop image, I’m sure the people who use the Mac Chick wall papers for their computers would like them for their iPhone wallpapers.
Apple and iHome: Great sound, Great Looks and Hot Users!
Think Perversion ?
So having an iPhone makes you a “Mac Chick”? Where’s the Mac?
I passed a guy in the hallway at work and he saw me on my iPad. He said “You’re a Mac guy? I’m a Mac guy too, I have an iPhone”. No, sorry dude, having an iPhone does not make you a “Mac Guy”.
And just because you’re hot and you have an iPhone, doesn’t make you a “Mac chick” either.
I think I’m going to need some clinical assistance 🙂
@ryemac3:
If I recall correctly, iOS is a modified version of Mac OS X, and as such, I would argue that, sure, owning an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch would make you a “Mac Guy”, or “Mac Chick” in this case.
(But really, I’m just defending her because I’d rather the pictures not be taken down.)
@ryemac3…what a maroon…you have a half naked chick and you are arguing about the right to call her a Mac Chick because of semantics….do believe you are missing the point…
The links to download the wallpaper are incorrect (missing the ‘h’ in ‘http’)
Hahaha! She grew up not 5 mins from me. And, your 12 Days of Christmas girl is also from central Maine, and lives probably 10 mins from me. Those pics of her with the snowman are from the park in front of the Maine State Capitol building.
Good grief, doc – where do you find these women? Are you photographing them yourself, or just referencing other sites’ images? I need you to need an intern. And I need to quit my job for an internship… 😀
I would fuck the shit out of her.
