Scorch and cold gives you gold
no it dosent it has to have a metal element in it to get a treasure dragon… ive tried a ton for the frostfire ex i tried lava and cold, blazing and cold, scorch and cold, and firefly and cold and got only scorch, obsidians, blazings, lavas, fireflys, hails, and a lot of other things i didnt want… can someone help me?
The dragon could of been out of date and needed to update but it also depends on the order you mate your dragons. You have to do the firefly on the right side and then the cold dragon on the left side while selecting which dragons to mate. If that doesn’t work switch them and jus keep switching until you get your dragon.

Actually, both parts of that statements are incorrect(with all due respect, of course). The frostfire dragon is not a limited dragon as it has been in existence and on the market for the entire time that I’ve been playing.
Also, the order of which the dragons are selected is completely irrelevant. If you specifically find that the only time you ever get a certain dragon is with a combo with which one dragon must be on one side, the other dragon on the other side, and you don’t get that dragon otherwise, I can assure you that it is purely coincidental.
Speaking of coincidences and irony, I was actually trying to get a Liberty Dragon(I love the limited ones) and accidentally made an Electrum dragon! On what had to be my fifth or sixth try! Oh well, I’ll keep on working towards the Liberty Dragon.
I got the frostfire dragon breeding cold+lava after 4 or 5 tries ( both were level 4)
Just breed water and cold. That is how I got the frost fire dragon!
And how? Please explain the logic…Frostfire has fire and cold elements. How water???

I had to breed the crypt (level 7) and the ruin (level 10) 20+ times in order to get my frostbite dragon – keep trying, it’ll happen!
Its FrostFIRE not FrostBITE
Try using a storm a fire and see what you get.
No, storm and fire will get you a blue fire dragon. I got it on the 2end or 3rd try.
I got frostfire by using bone and gold.
Try using cold + obsidian. It worked for me and I used lvl 4 dragons in a regular breeding cave.

Frostfire is still available. Try evergreen and fire, or lichen and fire. These combos only have 6 possible dragons right now: poison, flower, lichen, evergreen, blue fire and frostfire. Breeding times are are short for most of these possible dragons. I tried for 2 days and got 2 Frostfire in a row.
Me thinks that’s for BlueFire not Frostfire
They’re the same in terms of breeding and habitats so you only know which one you’re going to get when you see the egg. You can breed them both in the same way.
Actually, if you buy the breeding hint, it says that one dragon has to be the cold dragon and the other dragon only has to have the element of fire (as you cannot breed cold and fire together because they are opposites). WakeUp is correct that evergreen and fire or lichen and fire will only get you blue fire.
When I did Lichen + Fire I got evergreen. when I did that with fire it resulted in a poison

I’ve gotten 2 suns, 1 moon, and 2 blue fires trying to breed this with the recommended pairs
but still no frostfire. Any alternate suggestions?

I got mine with a level 5 obsidian and a level 5 cold on my first try. good luck!
I wasn’t able to get any epic dragons like you did, but I kept getting other Firefly, Scorch and especially Hail dragons, i.e. anything other than what I wanted. My dragons were level 7 and higher when I first started trying to breed a Frostfire. Finally, I decided to buy another cold dragon and only levelled it to level 4 (5 max) and I had managed to breed another Firefly. Same thing as for the cold, I levelled it to level 4. Then I bred the 2 and got a Frostfire on the 1st try. I did the same for Bluefire. Bought a new Fire dragon and had a second lichen. Both were level 4 when I bred them in the breeding cave (no epic islands!). First try … Bluefire. Certain dragons — especially baseline dragons — seem to come from low level (adolescent) dragons. I guess the game encourages one to level up one’s dragons to get rare types. The game just fails to mention that the opposite is also true!
I’ve tried this leads of times all I’ve got is 2 blue fires,2 fireflies and luckily 2 corals….please help really want frost Fire….

I tried firefly with ice. The breeding time is VERY long, around 38 hours in an upgraded breeding cave. Is there any way to guess what kind of egg it will make from the breeding time?

Try salamander and cold… Igot it on my first try
Firefly and Ice is wrong, this combination can’t result in a Frostfire

I can confirm that this is an impossible dragon. HELP ME PLZ!
Got one with storm and scorch first go. Tried the recommended combos by macenstein 6 times and just thought it should work as long as it has a clod and fire element so i tried and viola! Tried three times and got frostfire all 3 times! 🙂 sometimes you just mix with dragons of required elements (doesn’t have to be the tried and tested methods) because everyones chances are different so experiment 🙂 works for me!
Hey I found a way to get this dragon more easily . Just breed blue fire dragon on the right (if you have one) and dark dragon on the left. You may get a frostfire,blue fire,watch,or dungeon dragon ^_^ happy breeding and hope this helps a bit

Someone here said to try salamander & cold, that it worked for them the first try. I tried it & it worked the first time on EBI!! I cannot tell you how many times I tried with many other combos. So happy!!
I got it on first try with cold and poison and order does matter for everyone who says it doesn’t because the cold element has to come first because that’s the first element in the frostfire dragon
Patrick, I absolutely guarantee that order does NOT matter. I did salamander (left) and cold (right) and got frostfire on the 2nd try. Order does NOT matter.
Ugghh tried tons of combos nothing! Trying lava and cold on regular breeding habitat and steel and fire on EBI least may chance for a gold. Thoughts? Also looking for gem for gem daily GC trinitytrotter.

I bred my firefly and my cold dragon together both lvl 8 and some how got a bluemoon dragon lol guess its better then the frostfire
I got mine with an obsidian +cold and they weren’t even high leveled they were like both level 5 because I’m still early in the game and it was on my first try so good luck!

Can you breed with blue fire and cold?
Yes, you can — although my understanding is that you will probably end up with a cold dragon. However, recently I did something similar with a sandstorm and an earth and bred another sandstorm. You will not get a Frostfire, however, if that is what you are hoping for.

I got my Frostfire by breeding level 11 cold dragon with level 12 pepper dragon after about 20 tries.
I’ve been using cold and lava in breeding cave and in epic fire and lichen. Still no Frost fire. Any suggestions?

It could be a Bluefire dragon, but it can’t be a Frostfire. Frostfire requires that you breed a Cold dragon with a hybrid dragon that contains the fire element.
Scorch and cold works! Got frostfire in my first try. Both were level 12 and I used the epic breeding cave. Be careful with firefly and cold, you’ll get sun or moon depending on the time of day since the dominant “gene” in firefly is lightning.
Can you get frostfire with blue fire and fire or blue fire and cold. Just curious.
Either this dragon FREAKING HATES ME or I’m somehow hacked to not get it. I’ve tried around 20-30 times with Lava and Cold. I get a mountain dragon every single time, and it takes about 14 hours to breed! All the other combos I’ve tried have given me rare dragons which I already had. Someone help meee…
I tried all of the combinations mentioned above, cold and scorch, firefly, lava, obsidian.. etc, just tried cold with ember as i hadn’t seen it mentioned and got 12 hr breeding time first try! So either frost fire or blue fire! Give it a try if these others havnt worked for you
Finally got a frostfire.
Tried all the recommended breeding pairs and didn’t work. Kept getting dragons I already had.
So decided to try my lv12 cold with a lv12 salamander dragon and voilà frostfire on the first attempt!
I think as long as you have your cold dragon just mix it up with a fire hybrid and you’ll eventually get it.
