DragonVale: How to breed a Pearl Dragon
[EDIT: Looks like the “rare” Pearl Dragon egg seen below is actually the newly updated Pearl Dragon egg, so the original egg might actually turn out to be the “rare” one you can no longer get. Not sure why BackFlip Studios changed it midway through, but it looks like the Pearl Egg with the Pearl in it is the new egg]
PEARL DRAGON:
INCUBATION TIME: 30 Hours
BUY-IT Price: 1,475 GEMS
HOW TO BREED: Snow and Seaweed (Seasonal – can only be bred in the Month of June)
Interesting Fact: The Pearl Dragon is the only dragon I have seen so far that has TWO different types of eggs (scroll down). The hatched Pearl Dragons appear identical, however, so I am not sure the reason behind the difference.

The Pearl Dragon egg apparently comes in TWO varieties (Egg 4 is the alternate egg). The dragons seem the same though.

I missed the emerald dragon so as soon as the pearl dragon was available I bred a
Level 10 snow with a level 15 seaweed and got 30 hours on the first try!!!!!!!! Yay!!!:)

To breed the pearl dragon, did you use the breeding cave or island?
I have 2 dragons breeding its 48 hours im still waiting what i used was a lv10 bluefire and lv10 lichen

1st try snow(10) seaweed(11) got 6 hrs
2nd try snow(10) seaweed(11) got 5 hrs
3rd try seaweed(12) snow(10) got 30 hrs

the dragons on the 3rd try an got it.

i’ve had great luck with your breeding guide. to get pearl i’m going to try sandstorm and water. after all, pearls are just bits of sand. now i just have to get a sandstorm! add me mmgd66 if you like. i like visiting and leaving gifts:D

Oh also befor I bred the level 10 snow and the level 15 seaweed in the EBC I bought the La Reine De Pearls in decorations. Don’t know if it makes a difference but I got it on my first try so I figured I’d say something!!! Crossin my fingers for you guys who don’t have one yet!!!!:)

Hell Yeah!!!!!!!……. Finished breeding a snow dragon and got him up to level ten instantly…. At first I didn’t know you could breed an air dragon so I was saving up gems but I found out and I had a lot of time to get nearly 600,000 food anyway bred that with my seweed dragon and instantly got 39hours !!!!! Can’t wait my emerald dragon was getting lonely

I am having the same problem used up all of my gems probably about 600 gems and still no pearl this is crazy I got the emerald on like 4 or 5 try this dragon is really starting to me mad and its my birth month too lol
I don’t know if it helps but I bought the la Reine de pearls and the luminous crystals before I bred a level 10 snow and 15 seaweed in the EBC and I got pearl on my first try. Hope that helps!!
I’ve tried everything and haven’t been able to get the pearl, just like I wasn’t able to get the emerald. I’m so frustrated & am beginning to wonder if there is an issue with my account. Ugh!!
