DragonVale: How to breed a Pearl Dragon
[EDIT: Looks like the “rare” Pearl Dragon egg seen below is actually the newly updated Pearl Dragon egg, so the original egg might actually turn out to be the “rare” one you can no longer get. Not sure why BackFlip Studios changed it midway through, but it looks like the Pearl Egg with the Pearl in it is the new egg]
PEARL DRAGON:
INCUBATION TIME: 30 Hours
BUY-IT Price: 1,475 GEMS
HOW TO BREED: Snow and Seaweed (Seasonal – can only be bred in the Month of June)
Interesting Fact: The Pearl Dragon is the only dragon I have seen so far that has TWO different types of eggs (scroll down). The hatched Pearl Dragons appear identical, however, so I am not sure the reason behind the difference.

The Pearl Dragon egg apparently comes in TWO varieties (Egg 4 is the alternate egg). The dragons seem the same though.

Mine is no masterpiece, but you should come check it out sometime. Your park is cooler than most, but you could make it even better!

I just spent 70 gems speeding up the dragons breeding using ice and seaweed i still havent got pearl but then i used the regular breed ing cave and got panlong
Hi. I’ve been trying too. You actually have to use a SNOW and SEAWEED, not a ICE. Hang in there.
I’ve got a 48 hr breeding time with snow and seaweed. What have I got? Too long for a pearl. Maybe moon, sun or rainbow??
Sfchefdrew, It Most Likely Is A Rainbow Dragon Because Usually Rainbow Dragons Are They only ones that take 48 hours to breed
It doesn’t work for me the incubation time for me was only 8 hours pls tell me if there is another way

If its rainbow striped it rainbow dragon, if not, prepare for a sun or moon dragon!
It’s not rainbow because if it has ice+lightning in the breed it is sun or moon

What ever you do, don’t add scoop’d because he is lying. I added him and sent him gems for a MONTH and he didn’t even send me one much less a thousand.

I just want to point out that while I’m sure these people who claim they will give you lots of free gems are all legit, it is a HORRIBLE idea to give strangers your GameCenter name and Password, as that is quite often your iTunes account info and they can do whatever they want with them.
It also defeats the purpose of playing a game.

Wow ur lucky! I have only 1 sun. No rainbow no moon mo emerald no pearl! Sssssoooooo desperate!!!
So this is what I am now doing…. I will continue to help people but because I am doing so many and I am getting some of the most ridiculous request still and I am not getting the information I need even though I plainly stated, I from now on will only be filling request on a one on one basis…. With this being said it doesnt mean I won’t help you. What it does mean is I will give you what I feel like giving you and on the account that you give me all the information up front. From now on I will not be asking you over and over for your e-mail and password for your game center cause if you don’t include it I figure you don’t want anything in which I will then delete your request. Also, if you send me a request for stupid amount because you think I have nothing else to do then please know once again I will delete your request. With that being said, if you are nice and send me your information I will file it in my dragonvale help e-mail folder and I will go in order. Please keep in mind I am in the military and I have twin children so it may take a minute but I will try to make it as soon as possible. I am sooo happy that I got the pearl dragon and am waiting for the egg to hatch! 🙂 I got lucky and got the emerald dragon last month, too… I believe both of these only took three tries? Both my dragons used were level 10, and for pearl it IS Snow and Seaweed, I know it may not work right away but it will eventually! Don’t stress, you have a whole month lol. I also FINALLY got a blue fire dragon after trying like, a billion times lol. I still need a good bit of dragons yet, but I am getting there! My hope is to get all dragons available lol. I am so addicted to this game.

My brother got the emerald dragon just before it leaves and he got the pearl dragon just in 3 tries. I got the emerald dragon in the middle of the may but still do not have A pearl dragon.

I find it funny that people are freaking out that they have not gotten a pearl dragon yet… it is only the 5th day of June people… You have about 25 more days to go. Plus emerald was around for about half that and yet most of you already got that one. So I am thinking with twice the time (plus lower breeding times) it will be more likely to get the pearl.

Didn’t get it
I tried all last month to get the emerald dragon, breeding lichen and crystal in both my epic and standard breeding cave and nothing! Now I’m desperate for the pearl dragon, first try with snow and seaweed got me a rainbow dragon, it’s my first rainbow though so can’t complain I guess. Really want this dragon though! I just hope I’m lucky this time!

I had no luck at all on Emerald dragon.. but I got a 30 hour breeding time this month I hope its a Pearl dragon.. This is how I did it, I got a Seaweed and Snow as usual when I bred for a few times and had no luck. So I decided to get a 2 pairs of Seaweed and Snow.. Now, I have 2 seaweed and 2 snow.. What I did was swap the seaweed dragon with the other one.. And yeah! 30 hours breeding time!! I have no gems to fast it up.. Please add me and send me gems so I can speed the breeding.
