I have a friend who’s tried 10 times with that combo. He can not get this plasma dragon.
The combonations on mac enstein are correct. Dragonvale takes patience, it took me two months in an upgraded epic breeding island to make a oroboros with both my magnetic and water dragon at level17

Been trying for over a month to get one with zero success. Can’t remember which combo I used for my first one but have been trying this combo to get a second. (I want a display egg.). VERY frustrating.
How many tries does it take
Because it is a “roll of the dice” each time you try, there’s no telling. You might get lucky and get even a difficult dragon … like a gem dragon … on your very first try. Or you might get unlucky and try 100x with no success. (Just like trying to roll a 6 with a single die. You would have a one in six chance of success each time you throw. So you might get the 6 on your very first throw but there is the possibility that even a hundred throws later you might still not have gotten it.
Haha no it’s nothing like rolling a die???? unles this die was able to factor in ratios. Dragonvale breeding is chosen off of a percentage not a 1/6 chance for everything. It could be one has a 1/2 and another 1/3 and the best one could be a 1/6 chance but not all can be 1/6. I wish it cold be though!!! Good try being smart though????
Waders, “Good try being smart though???” What you mean is “You are an Asshole” and by “You” we mean wadersvtx. What Cephalotus said is absolutely correct. The 6 sided die was an example for simpletons like you. Each dragon obviously has a different percentage chance – some higher than others – but still just a “roll of the die” every time you try to breed.
Grow up and get a life instead of trolling the internet to try and find ways to embarrass yourself by attempting to appear superior to others and failing miserably.

Breed rain and lightning on my second try. Do this combination. I’m not lying. It really works.

How many hours does it take to breed plasma if u use rust and lightning???
Try swamp and iceberg if it doesn’t work .
The reason why you use swamp or seaweed is because the fails are only 30mins to 6 hrs. Keep going and good luck!

You friend them on GameCenter(if you have an apple device)
What if you don’t have a apple device?
If your using android and have to use FB to sign in go to DV FB page or a dragonvlale wiki site forum and use the Facebook sign up page to ask friends to add you . You can also go on your FB and look through all the suggested friends and look for dragonvlale images as their profile pics and send friend requests. I did this and in the morning I had many friends you will see so many you recognize as dragonvlale players good luck

Dude, I’m freaking out right now! I have tried swamp and lightning so many times( over 25) and still don’t have it. And I want it, because I want the jade dragon.

me to but haven more luck got the salamader 2nd try because i missed clicked on my hidden bolt sadly nothing came out of a days waiting but got it with the right combo i also take the time to find cheap 30 min breeding pits and use it continuesly to create massive pits of gold that can b used for many stuff alsop got the fireworks dragon by mistake but love it

I haven’t been able to get the Plasma, Summer, or Seasonal dragons for some reason. I’ve tried many times without luck. Same as others one reason I would like to have the Plasma dragon is just to utilize it to breed the Jade dragon. :p If you want/need another friend my Game Center ID is littlemissoldies I’ve had DragonVale, DragonStory, Bakery Story, Restaurant Story, as well as Farmville. I tried this combination, lightning with ice i think, but instead of getting plasma, current or storm and the other lightning and ice, i got this time: 1:59:59:59. Does anyone know what this is?
Swamp and light 1st try nothing, light and swamp 2nd try and i get it
Same for me. I tried all the combinations above and I even changed from left to right and right to left, but it doens’t work! So frustrating! Even breeding sun, moon, gold, rainbow and dbl rainbow went easier!

I just used seaweed and lightning, level 14 seaweed and level 11 lightning and got a 16 hour breeding time. Hoping for the best!!! (Btw this is my first actual time trying to breed a plasma)
I need gems I am only L17 and my highest dragon is L9 all I get is 6 to 8 hour stuff and they r the same thing please help -kim
My son jus got the plasma after 6 tries. He breed lighting lvl 13 and swamp lvl 15 in that order. Good luck. He now trying for the current with sonic and water and it’s been a nightmare.
Done this combination again on my game lighting lvl 13 and swamp lvl15 after 6 to 7 tries got the plasma.
Lightening and swamp worked but only after 17-20 tries????
Managed to get this dragon on my game and my son’s game on second breed going for the summer dragon. Coral lvl 15 and lighting lvl 15.

Could it work with just a lightning dragon and a water dragon? And if so, would the odds of breeding a plasma dragon as a result, decrease?
Hi.I’ve seen comments listing multiple combinations of dragons, all of which contain one lightning dragon and one dragon whose makeup is has water in it, but never just a water dragon itself. I was wondering if it is possible to just breed a water drag and a lightning dragon together in order to achieve the result of a plasma dragon. Does anybody happen to know whether or not this is possible?
Its not possible since lightning and water are opposites. Thats why you have to use at least 1 hybrid to be able to breed.
Just got a 16 hour breeding time with Lightning and Rain! I am on a role! I have gotten a Liberty, Victory and Ruby in the last two days, and all of them either first or second tries 🙂
Finally got it, after trying for so long without macenstein. Thank you for this combo because of it my tries finally ended with this combo:swamp and lightning. Got it second try with first try being a short half hour wait.

After several tries with different combos, I finally got one with lvl 20 lightning & lvl 16 swamp in the regular breeding cave.
