Don’t get frustrated with this breeding combination. Having all the dragons back is a blessing and a curse. This combination breeds, Sun, Blue Moon, Moon, Leap Year, Rainbow, Reindeer, as well as the usual hybrids. (as you can tell I have had little luck breeding the Emerald as well. The percentage algorithm is probably in chaos right now. You have to hope for a rare percent of a bunch of rare percentages. It is a great way for us all, myself included, to spend a lot of money on gems. I have given this one a break and moved on to the other gemstone dragons I haven’t bred. I may just have to wait for may to roll around again when the algorithm has more of a chance to hit the emerald lottery.
Yeah I can’t get it or the peridot one, so Im going for the other dragons first I wasted heaps of gems and time

I have been having the same problem. I am getting all of the other rare dragons EXCEPT the Emerald. I have also been trying to get Topaz & Pearl with no luck either. I did finally get Peridot. So the only dragons that I need from this “Bring ‘Em Back” thing is Emerald, Pearl & Topaz … guess I’ll just wait until May, June & November come around again ~ good luck everyone

So… It’s May 1, why is the diamond dragon still avaliable & the emerald is not? Glitch?
Not sure where you are from but I guess its because its American or European time not Australian.
It doesn’t matter about what time zone you’re in. It takes time for them to update the game. It’s not as easy as click-type-a-few-letters-and-you’re-done kind of thing. It’s not a glitch.
Maybe because ur timezone is different with the one dragonvale is based on. I experience the same thing.

I know I’m posting in the wrong place but I figured everyone would be here right now. I can’t get my Cold dragon to feed higher than level 10. I have the cold shrine on the island, I’ve fed cold hybrids to level 15 but this guy won’t go higher than 10. What gives?
Binx, it could be just a glitch. I should advise you to turn off your device manually using the Home & Off button. Wait a minute then turn it back on. If this still doesn’t work, you should then start over and buy/breed the Cold dragon again. If this doesn’t work however, you seriously have a stupid glitch going on. You should then inform a DragonVale administrator, he/she will tell you what to do. I hope this has helped you. 😉

Can anyone tell me why I can’t feed my Cold dragon beyond level 10? I have the shrine and many cold hybrids that are fed to level 15. It doesn’t make any sense why I can’t feed the cold dragon?!
Have you upgraded your cold shrine? Your other cold hybrid dragons can be at higher level because if there other part of that Dragon has a shrine and that shrine is upgraded, for example your mountain Dragon could be at a level 15 because your earth shrine is upgraded even if you didn’t have a cold shrine. But the cold Dragon can only be raised higher than a 10 if you upgrade the cold shrine.
You probably need more level 10 cold hybrids. I had the same problem with my metal dragon.
Wow, I really wonder how long it would have taken me to realize that it never got upgraded. Totally stumped. Luckily I’ve got some cold hybrids in the cave I can feed and take care of this. Thank you so much Nettiesdragons and kolabear007 🙂

I tried Crystal and Lichen but I got Rainbow!!! I know it’s rare but I’m attempting to get my first Gemstone Dragon. -_- Does anyone have a different combination?

2nd try: Evergreen Dragon
3rd try: Emerald Dragon!!!!!!!!

I find it easier to breed if you put an emerald triquetua down ( it’s in decorations).

Thank u jesus!!! On my 2nd try i got 25hrs at first i thought i got rainbow ut it was emrald!!!!!! Me soooo happy:) also did anyone else notice how when u click on a habitat it makes a related sound?like w/ air it makes an egale going CAAAW!!!!:) and thanks doc if it wernt for u i wouldnt have any of my three gem dragons!! Also ppl who wanted gem4gem thx now u guys spammed my game center and it now broken so i cant accept any requests
