I tried crystal and lichen the first time and didn’t get the emerald dragon but I didn’t have the special island for the emerald dragon. I bought the island, tried again, and it worked! I am now waiting 31 hours for an emerald dragon. Just a heads up, I think you need the island before you get the dragon

I have the gem island and I’ve now tried crystal and litchen 27 times still no emerald dragon. I’ve tried 8 times today and still nothing what am I doing wrong. I’ve tried them on the island and in the cave nothing all my dragons are level 10. Help!!!!,
I feel your pain dude. I am on my 54 try now. Trying a lv 10 crystal and lichen and a lv 13 lichen and 10 crystal. I have the epic island and the gem island. By brother has gotten 4 so far in only 6 tries. Both lv 10.

Ive been using crystal and lichen but haven’t gotten an emerald!! However, I got two rainbow dragons from that combo.
Hi it took me three times to get emerald dragon all the over times I got a tree dragon how ?
you probably got a tree dragon by plant (from lichen) and earth (from crystal)
I managed to get a sun with the crystal and lichen so got any other combinations

My epic breeding island has froze. Dragons are stuck. Then I upgraded it for a bunch of gems, the dragons are still there but I can choose to breed but it says system error because my old dragons r still up there! ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX THIS.? By the way it took about 7 times to get emerald dragon. Crystal L10 on left. Lichen L10 on right. Plus I got another sun just before that.. Looks like that will be the only combo I go with!!!

I must have literally tried dozens of times, crystal and lichen, either side, different levels across 10 -12, I am level 27, and no joy… however, I do now have two extra rainbow dragons !! I should not complain, but I really really want the gem one 🙁 I have gems to spare from my gem tree if you want to add me DeborahCosgrove – I send gem for gem, but if you don’t respond with one in return I will soon just ignore the chance to send them. Thanks for adding me and for the gem. You can only give only give three gems per day, and I already gave mine out for today, but I will send you a gem tomorrow. I think you have to skip a day as well, meaning you can’t send to the same friend two days in a row. Perhaps someone here can confirm that?

How do you get your dragons past level 10? And I cannot get moon dragon, or gem tree 🙁 help?
To breed past 10, you need to buy an element shrine and breed 50 of that element and take them up to 10. For example, buy a plant shrine, breed 50 plant or plant hybrid dragons, max their levels out at ten, then you will be able to take them to 15. Take 50 to 15, and you will be able to take them up to 20.
Moon dragons, like sun and rainbow are rare and breeding them is random. I recommend using the cyphun breeding calculator, available online. I believe in order to get rare breeds like these, your “parent” dragons will have to have all four basic elements represented between them. Lichen and crystal are good parents for all rare dragons.
The gem tree is only available for sale for 100 gems. You will have to buy them, compete to win them in events, and/or have them gifted to you one at a time.
