lucky ducks! my breeding caves are filled up with the pearl dragon and the moon dragon;) so i can’t try 🙁 wats the best combo?
Hi Sarah! I bred Fire on left and Ice on right. Both dragons at level 10. I actually got two Firework dragons within an hour of each other. I bred one on Epic Island and the other in regular breeding cave. I think these are easy to breed. But who knows in this crazy world of Dragonvale. Good Luck. Ps. Let me know if this combo works.
I got a firework dragon by breeding sonic and blue fire
Air and panlong dragon I haven’t had a better combo for thr firework breed
I got mine by breeding fire and blazing both lv 10
I got the firework by breeding chrome and scorch, I was trying to breed a ruby dragon which came on my second try but I got the firework instead. I’m on my third firework so far, they aren’t to hard to breed. :p
i was hoping for a blue fire dragon by breeding Snow and Fire dragons…but when i looked at the breeding hours,i was getting a Firework dragon.
Here are some of the combos,they sometimes hav to be lvl 10 and sometimes not:
•Fire & Air
•Fire & Snow
•Blazing & Fire

Has anyone bred a Firework with any other dragons to get a rare? I am trying to get the elusive Rainbow but I have had no luck. Errrrrrr! My Panlong will be done tomorrow so I will try bred it with another to get my Rainbow.
I was still trying for another solstice with mud and blazing and got firework twice it was right after buying the firework decoration. I was surprised as didn’t it existed!
I got a Rainbow while trying to breed a Pearl (with Snow and Seaweed). Never got the Pearl, but I was excited to get the Rainbow.
the same thing happened to me i was trying to get a pearl and got a 48 hr time then realized it was a rainbow dragon
I got rainbow twice with mud (left lvl10) and blazing(right lvl10) accidentally while trying to breed the solstice dragon. I hadn’t realized that it was no longer available. Lol 😛
I tried to breed a Panlong dragon, breeding Mud and Blazing dragons but got a Solstice. Since then, i ve been unlucky… Even to get a Firework

I have gone to friends to gift gems and I am very upset cuz some friends gift buttons are of active so I can’t repay them. Why are the gift buttons not active!!?? It’s not cuz I already gifted them. When I first go to friends I carefully scroll thru my list and see a number of gift buttons are not active. Any ideas?
You have to fully shut down Dragonvale (double-click the main button on iPad/iPhone until your ‘open’ apps appear along the bottom, then press & hold dragonvale app icon until it appears with an ‘x’, then remove it from the list)
Do this very 24 hours to deactivate the gift buttons for friends.
I tried blazing and mud (wanted a panlong) both level 10 and I got it. Truly lucky.
I got a firework dragon on my first try by breeding a blazing and air
lol i just got the dragon by using monarch and bloom,
i would suggest that everyone use that combo but i just wanted to say something 🙂
Well if this helps if you have a padlong +blasing it works but that is the hard part most people don’t have a padlong .or you can try air+fire .this way you don’t half to have any speshal dragons hope this works if you won’t you can add me as a friend in your game senter . Ashlypaigebasiuk7
I did mud and blazing, I got 2 fire works within minutes of each other! I was trying for a pearl though. 🙁

Got it first try fire and blazing.
I bred a firework dragon by breeding a level 10 blazing and a level 10 butterfly in an ordinary breeding cave
I got it with a mud and a stratos and then again with a fire and snow
I was trying to get a Panlong dragon with Fog and Lava but ended up getting a firework dragon on my third try!
1st and second try were both mud dragons which is also 6 hours like the firework dragon.
So if you see 6 hours, it could be good!
Ok been trying since the firework dragon was available, finally got it by doing fire and snow in my epic breeding island. Didn’t actually think itd work…but it did! =D woot woot!! Lol

Got a Firework dragon on the first try. Actually I wasn’t even trying for one…I was hoping for a Panalong dragon. Bred blazing with mud in regular breeding cave. Also got my pearl dragon on the very last day after trying all month!

Once you gift them, their button becomes inactive and won’t become active again for 24 hours. However, I’ve noticed there is a glitch and sometimes their buttons are inactive for more than 24 hours. If that happens you need to kill the app and restart it. That seems to do the trick for me.
You understand the problem….I’ve tried closing/opening but doesn’t work. What do you mean by “kill the app”? Thanks for your help
If you double-click your home button, the bottom of the screen slides up to show you the running apps. Do that, then touch and hold the DragonVale icon until it wiggles. Then close it by touching the top left X button. That’s how you “kill it”. Then run it again to see if it solves your problem.

I bred a fireworks with lava and fog, trying to get the panalong! Both lvl 10 in the normal breeding cave! Boy was I surprised! And happy!
I got it trying to get the Panlong dragon breeding blazing and mud
I got the firework dragon by breeding chrome with scorch tried twice, worked Both times
I also got a fireworks dragon by breeding fire and snow. Bred them several times in a row and got a fireworks each time.

I got it by breeding (left) flaming dragon (right) crystal dragon I noticed it wasn’t up there so I wants to tell you guys… Was trying to get a ruby dragon but that works too lol

I got mine before they announced it using Panlong lvl 12 and Blazing lvl 11 twice.

I got it with Chrome lv 10 (left) and lava LV 10 (right ) I got 2
My brother got it with crystal lv 15 left and blazing lv 15 he got it 3 times and displayed the egg!!

Fire dragon + Snow dragon in that order, while going for the blue fire.
Already got like 20 firework dragons trying to get the ruby dragon. But I got two ruby dragons so far
