All the old dragons have come back but I can not breed the ruby dragon.Help…
You don’t just get it your first few tries keep using chrome and scorch and you will get there
It took my 30 tries before I got a diamond and 10 tries to breed a ruby so slow down and wait.
I cannot tell you how many times I tried for this dragon! I got 5 leap years and 6 fireworks with this combo and many other dragons but not the ruby!! And FINALLY today after so many tries I go it on EBI!! So excited! Persistence persistence persistence!
I got 2 gold and 1 moon and 1sun out of this try and still no luck with ruby……….please I hope I can get one before it expires in jan 2nd
Vivienne134 if you’re getting moon and sun dragons then your combo’s not right, they’re cold and lightning and there’s no cold element in chrome or scorch. Still haven’t got on either 🙁 good luck
All dragons came back! Trying to get like leap year and ruby/ emerald!!!

I got the gold dragon when i got 48 hours with this combo.
I’m having problems breeding this one too. For the last month and a half , tried switching dragons around. No luck. I’ve gotten all others with this combo but no ruby!! Any suggestions?
Hey I couldn’t believe my luck I got ruby 1st try chrome&scorch. Hey maceinstien to you recommend blazing and lightning for firework because I would like to get it before It goes away
No Scott firework is simply fire and air no need for lightning element at all

It countered the fact I got the pearl on the second last day lol.

I’ve got barely any dragons compared to those guys! I’ve got firework, double rainbow, gold, solstice, sun, moon and a gold Olympus dragon… Oop and Kairos..
After almost not getting a Pearl, I got this dragon on my 5th attempt. This combo works perfectly.
Hey doc ive just breed grome & scorch level 15 .and ive got an egg that ia not listed but will take 1days & 11 hrs to hatch any idea wot it is its similar to a diamond but when I look at the picture on the dragon vale guide its slightly different.
Just found it its the double rainbow .
Odd. double rainbow is 60 hours. how did you get it for 35 hours?

It seems that I lost one of my gem trading friends during the last update. I have a Dragonsai Gifting Tree and trade gems every day. I need one new daily gem trader. Please send friend request to BigKinR ( my Game Center ID). You must have 10 friends or less to be accepted and have a gifting tree.
I did fill the one empty gem trading spot a couple of days ago. Katherine— I hope that you see this post so you know why I did not accept your friend request. I spent about 300 gems on this dragon ugh… Not ruby this hurts… I’ve gotten my 6th firework, spams of smoke, blazing, copper and firefly, so I just basically wasted a few great months of colosseum … I earns all the gems … … … From friends and colosseum. I just got a 39 hour one on EBSanctuary and I wonder what it is… But it’s not a ruby and I already have 2 rainbows, a double rainbow, a sun, a solstice, a moon, 2 gold Olympus, a platinum, 3 gold, 3 cyclops,2 seasonal, 1 spring and 3 summers. Is cos I interbreed. But hey, another 39 hour one from epic breeding sanctuary 🙂

Can I use meteor and scorch?
I had issue not getting pearl last month, but got ruby first try yesterday. Still waiting for the egg to hatch. Wonder if I can get another before august. I did hide my other epics in hibernation cave and used EBI, not sure if that makes a difference or not.
Not sure the best place to throw this out there, but I need two more people for daily gem trade, two of my people are not hemming back. My GCID is shornt2288. and a quick. Thanks to Mac for making my dragon breeding so frustration free.
With chrome and scorch the only thing I’ve gotten 10 times is sonic
Still going for Ruby, although I’m not surprised I’m not getting it yet- it’s only my 3rd try at it. This might be hard to bear though because I’m used to easily getting Epics- my three Epic dragons were all really lucky breeds. My first, a Rainbow, happened after a few Crystal and Blue Fire. Same for my Sun, then my Jade I got on my first try.
Still saving for the EBI, not anywhere near. I have one empty slot for gem for gem trades, my Game Center is Miles_Moo.

Got it first try on EBI . I started playing this about two months ago and have got silver dragon on first try and some how accidently got double rainbow on accident trying to breed a diff dragon and just got the EBi(well worth the 125 gems BTW) and got ruby first try in it. Some how I’ve had amazing luck , I’m sure I’ll run out but also have had a few hybrids that took a few tries but other then that I’ve been on a role. So definitely Chrome with scorch is the right combo .I’m sure not using the EBI could take many many tries like most people on here had to do, but get the EBI its way worth it and I don’t know about you but I’ve saved gems for a long time I think buying the EBI and upgrading nursery is really the only reason to use gems along with getting giant habitats so buy an EBI asap! Chrome and scorch def the right combo don’t give up you’ll get it and good luck breeding guys and girls!
You def need EBI. Somehow I got it first try ! Luck I guess just keep trying, you’ll get it! For sure get you the epic breeding island that’s how I got it first try. Its so worth the gems getting the EBI. I hope you get it soon goodluck
Got it first try on epic breeding island , chrome and scorch. If you don’t have epic breeding island its worth the 125 gems to get it. Had over 300 gems saved up , the only time in used gems was on the epic breeding island and to upgrade nursery . other then that and using them also for giant habitats . So get the epic breeding island its so worth it if you want to get rare dragons right away.Good luck breeding! Like I said chrome and scorch does work!

Perseverance… I do the EBI and the Enchanted cave. Chrome on left scorch on right. First ruby took 1 try, second took like 14. I have resorted to playing on 3g, NOT wifi. Have not been able to breed anything good on wifi. Not sure that it actually makes any difference, but it’s been working so I won’t change. Good luck mate.
P.s. if I could swap you for a double rainbow dragon I would.

OMGGGGG!!!!!! I JUST GOT IT NOW!!!!!! 31 HRS WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!! SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!! this must be the hardest gemstone dragon to get… other than aquamarine… amethyst, diamond, jade, pearl and emerald were so easy i got them within a week when it was available… guess im just lucky
What levels r recommended to get the ruby dragon? I’ve tried soooooooooo many times breeding chrome/scorch but it never works, I always get chrome!!!! Hahn help
