Been trying for the Sapphire, I only have Rain and Mountain as I don’t have Equinox or Blue Moon, does Sapphire work with lvl 10 Mountain and Rain?can’t have any more friends as all slots full???? Thanks, hope someone replies????

yesterday. I was going after Sun or Moon with firefly and storm got a new hail insteed.

I only have lvl 10 Rain and Mountain, can you breed a Sapphire with that combination WITH OUT the Epic Breeding Island
I use lvl 10 too but on epic i Got a blue Moon dragon in the normal breeding cave also with lvl 10 dragons so i belive you can yes ! But maby you dont get it in the first try like i did i godt my blue Moon in try 3 🙂
Blue fire is giving mé the creps now i try like 70 times with difrent cold even forstfire and cold but Getafe fire or cold!
Then i try for this 1. Time i dó the combo i get a 30 hour breding so just give it a go 🙂

Blue moon=NBC
Sapphire=EBI
What level should my dragons be???
The level does not matter, dragons level 15+ will give you a higher chance on breeding rarer dragons, but I only have level 10 dragons, hope this helped 😉
Well, I’ve been trying with Level 17 Mountain and Level 17 Rain, and after about dozen tries, and nothing. The Amber dragon has been around a lot longer, but I refused to burn gems and try to breed it. I have gotten 2 rainbows, 1 blue mon, and everything else just regular hybrids… and I have been trying since mid-August — dozens of attempts now.
I have to say that I am very disappointed here. These people lead you to believe feeding your dragons up to hirer levels will give you better odds at rare & epic dragon. After more than a year playing this game, I have to say I see no difference at all. Back when I had only levels 10s, I got Moon by accident, Apocalyse in just a few tries, my frist Rainbow after 12 or 15 attempts, and most of my gem stone dragons in just a dozen tries, etc. After a year I started moving up to 15s and now I’m at 17s, but I don’t see any difference in “better odds” at getting rare dragons. In fact, I am wondering if I am supposed to spend $$ on gems or something now. I’m not sure. But for those reading this, I’d suggest you save your gems and cash, and just leave your dragons at level 10… that is when it comes to breading. If you want more cash, then sure, level up!
@ Jim, I am inclined to agree with you. I have got rare dragons such as the double rainbow, platinum and cyclops all with level 11 or 12 dragons. I do not recall if they were all bred on the island or not, but I refuse to spend real money on something that is all by chance anyhow. I’ve been breeding level 15 Mountain-Rain and Rain-Mountain combos with no luck at Sapphire, but just got a Rainbow. It seems as if it’s all luck of the draw!
I think I just got one finally, been trying since the 1st :), and I’ll keep at it for another because its so early in the month.
I got a sixty hour incubation time with lvl 10 rain and mountain in EBI. Pretty sure it’s a double rainbow dragon. I can’t get the sapphire dragon though. I’ve tried at least 15 times. Tell me if there are any tricks to getting it or not!!

I dó however have kairos and did use him for this but i have a safir eg hathting and just Got another 30 hour breeding with the same dragons 2 out of 6 breedings i Think this is realy Nice and i Will keep dooing this combo alm month and Will Tel you how Many i get but this combo for Real gives you satire dragon i. Time 🙂 my gamecenter is Dragonqueen82 og you Wang a look for your self ????

Would it be possible to breed Sapphire with ghost instead of mountain?
I don’t know. they say there is only one combination to breeding gemstone dragons.
The ghost dragon has Earth and cold in the same order as Mountain… So i presume it would work but i dont wanna Easter time and børn gems for notning…
If it does have earth and cold, maybe it could work, I don’t have a ghost so I don’t know, sorry, hope you get a Sapphire soon 😉

On my very 1st try I got the Sapphire Dragon, that was on EBI with Rain & Mountain both level 16. I’m trying for a 2nd and no luck. I got a good tip from another player. Try your dragons after you’ve put them in the Fountain of Youth.

I have been playing since last Dec and I have breed gemstone dragons in both cave and island so no, you do not have to have island but do save up for it as having two breeding areas obviously increases your chances of getting the dragon you want.
It doesn’t matter. I just got a 24 hour breeding time in the EBS (Epic Breeding Sanctuary) I’m pretty sure it’s a Sapphire Dragon. You can get it with a Normal Breeding Cave but the chances are lowered. Probably the only way you can get one with the Normal Breeding Cave is if they were level 15 or higher. Hope this helped!

Normal breeding cave for a gemstone, sounds really crazy, cause Iv tried like 99999999 times, (46 to be realistic) but are you sure it wasn’t the Epic Breeding Island?

Finally got it with rain and mountain both level 15 on EBI I tried for ages on RBC and couldn’t get it. I’m fairly certain I got my two other gemstone dragons on EBI, but I did accidentally get double rainbow in RBC so I’m sure it’s possible to get gemstones too.
I have tried over 100 times with mountain and rain (all at level 18) in both breeding places with out getting a sapphire dragon. It’s the only “goal” I need but I am about to delete the entire game as this is so stupid after this many tries!!

I got a Double Rainbow dragon when I thought it was a sapphire dragon
Also, when I saw 30 hours on my screen, I was SCREAMING! Trust me u dont wanna hear me scream but today when I found out in was a double rainbow dragon my mouth dropped.
How do you get the dragons passed level 10? I see everyone saying level 15 and 18.

Ok, I’ve gotten 3 double rainbows but not ONE sapphire, both breeding caves working with all level 18 rain and mountain dragons, what the Heck am I doing wrong????
