The blue fire/metal combo can get you gold and silver. I just got gold with it!! Will try for silver in two days!

Lol, as soon as I saw the Ironwood dragon and the silver dragon were out, I tried to get the Ironwood with Grass and Steel.
It didnt turn out to be what I expected, 47 hours, so thats a silver… Ill try to get the ironwood again sometime
Got it with metal and cold. I was trying to get a Steel Dragon.
Have reached lvl 35 we need 10 more levels why has this not been adressed? I understand adding dragons, habitats etc but we need more levels! I am disabled house bound and in great pain, this helps me. I have achieved this level without spending one cent. I am retired Navy and 12 yrs. with Siemens. My disability is irreversible this does help. How about it Doc as well as dragons can you increase levels?

Its rediculus how they expect us to get these hard dragons especially the rare/limited ones when even with the right combo the percentage on getting one is so low, if it wasnt for people using hacks we would never get any, could you
Imagine people who play the game and dont know how to find out the combinations online, its sheer impossible to guess the combo, i bet many remove the app because of this, without people using hacks to find the combos this game would have been deleted a long long time ago so big thanks for passing on these combos your doing a great job, they should pay you a wage cos without the right combos loads would have scrapped the game as guessing the correct combo is
Impossible without buying millions of gems and speeding everything up but thats probabaly why they do it that eat so people buy gems!
The only limited dragon in the shop right now is the gemstone dragon. All the rest (olympus, treasure and seasonal) are here to stay. At least that’s what the Dragonvale FB page says.
Don’t give up! I haven’t paid money and still received many dragons. You have to be persistent.

Just bred metal & bluefire for a gold then tried metal and lichen next go & got a silver!
Now if only I could get some of those tricky ones that constantly elude me!
I can’t get the Silve Dragon! I have tried Lichen/Metal, Bluefire/Metal, Steel/Cold,
Bluefire/Cold. I only ever get different types of Metal Dragons! So frustrating! I am going to try again now.
Breed a Cold Dragon with a Mine. It gets you the best results. Got 2 Silver in 5-6 attempts. The miss tries were always 6 hours or less breed time. Tried the Air and Mine more than 10 times with no results.
I’m in the process of trying for this one as well, but I find that if you pick one combo and stick with it you will eventually get the one you are trying for. I always end up with more of the dragons I already have but in the end you will get the one you are trying for. Trust the Doc’s suggestions. I think for the Gold I must have tried about 40 times. 🙂 I hate to tell you to be patient because patience is NOT one of my virtues, but it will pay off in the end…
Try blue fire on the left and iron on the right. I got it that way first try.
I also can’t breed silver…. Have try about 10 times now
Hey guys, what is the best combination really?
Have prepared a Treasure habitat to welcome a Gold or Silver dragon. Hopefully the breeding combo will work.
On another note, feel free to add me on Game Center (@jonwzm) for gem trading. Genuine trading unless I run out of gems before replenishment and accidentally forgets.
Do you need particular shrine levels to get gold/silver dragons? I have a feeling there are often requirements for dragons that we have just already met… So we don’t realize. For example, I hadn’t added any friends and tried forever to get sun and moon dragons… After I added friends… I think I’ve had four of each… A sun dragon that day. They actually do hint there are requirements for the sun and moon… But I think maybe the silver and gold are so named because you need silver or gold shrines to get them (?). Just a thought… But I’ve got all silver and no gold shrines… So maybe I can’t get a gold dragon (?). We would need multiple accounts at different stages to test this… Or a much better organized network (with new players all the time). But it would be sad if people tried forever and never met a requirement we didn’t know was needed… I still don’t have a rainbow dragon, for example.
No I got my gold dragon before I ever got a silver shrine. Also the requirements for the sun & moon dragon are that you can only breed a sun dragon between 6:59am-7pm & a moon dragon between 7pm-6:59am. Doesn’t matter where you live, somehow they got it to go by the time zone the player is in! For the rainbow dragon you have to breed 4 different elements together like Firefly+Seaweed it has Fire, Lightning, Water, Plant. As long as you have 4 elements eventually you’ll get it hun! I actually got one of mine trying for a gold dragon using Scorch+Crome. I got my Moon dragon using Water+Storm. (was trying for something different) With patience eventually you can breed every dragon! Nothing is required except for certain levels to be obtained & the right elements to be used! ???? No, that’s not it. I got a moon dragon very early on using a tip I found. First try. I didn’t have shrines, nor did I have Gamecentre friends.
I got a gold without any Gamecentre friends, and none of my shrines are silver or gold.
Stick to it.
i,ve got peridot (cactus + cristal), seasonal (blazing + lichen), gold (scorch + chorme) and rainbow (blazing + cristal), but no silver. jow can i get blufire??? i try snow + fire lots of times but i cant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a silver first try with rust and iceberg. Was originally trying for rain.
There are gamers on here that want gem 4 gem swap, be aware there are several who DO NOT gem back, I have just wasted a week sending my gems and not had a single gem back. I am a genuine swapper but send me first so I know you are genuine too.
