I’ve tried and tried to get the opal, i use mud/lava lava/mud but I just can’t get it!! Plz help, gamecenter is taytayleelee112233
Try mud/lava lv 10 everyday between 1.56 am-1.58 am. Me and my friend got at the same time on monday

I wish we could gift eggs too… Just be patient dudes… We still have 23 days to breed
its easy to say just be patient… I have other dragons I would like to work on too, but keep feeling like “this might be the one” so I keep putting lava and mud in both my breeding areas three times a day and get the same two stupid dragons. Though I will say that I am super happy that Crystal is not a fail for this.
I also had the same problem I kept getting lava and mud so I tried a combo I saw on here where some one used rain and lava and got opal on the first try but I got panalong my first so went back to lava and mud and after 4 more tries I got opal it’s in breeding right now 31 hours I have been at it since day one after many many lava and mud I finally got opal so keep trying it will happen good luck 🙂

I’m tired of mud dragons is there a certain combination to get opal like mud right and lava left ive tried for ever.

Lava and Mud gives you a… Lava or Mud dragon. I have tons now. Where’s my Opal?
Lol, you could sell them.
Advice: Give it a rest, breed some other dragon and then breed LAVA(left)+MUD(right) on EBI. This is how I got my 2nd and 3rd Opal. Good luck 🙂

I put scorch level 8 on the left and mud level 9 on the right and it said 48 hours till breeding I don’t know if it’s an opal dragon but it’s worth to try 🙂
An opal dragon takes only 31 hours so it can’t be that 🙁
Opal is 31 hours but keep trying after a lot of lava and mud I just got 31 hours which is opal 🙂

Finally got opal dragon after 8 tries with lava (left) and mud (right)…

Only 8 … I must be on attempt 25. Seriously. I have trying to breed an opal since Doc posted the pairing.
Phew! Finally got one breeding…. Took me 2 plus attempts per day since the first . I was about ready to give up. Now if I can only get at panlong or rainbow….
Omg… Lol I just got my first panalong I read on here some tried rain and lava for opal and they got it on the first try so I tried that combo and got my first panalong I went back to lava and mud and after 4 tries I got opal but try rain and lava 🙂
Thanks!! I have been trying that, but keep getting mud and fog. I am sooooooo tired of mud!! Gotta love this game…. When you are ready to hang it up, it rewards you… Torture!

Earlier today I got my third Opal Dragon using Lava (Level 10) and Mud (Level 10 ) in the Epic Breeding Island. From Wednesday (10/ 3 , 7:00pm to 10/9 , 5:00am I bred Lava – Mud 32 times and got 17 Lava Dragons & 15 Mud Dragons). Advice to people still looking for your first Opal Dragon —- Hatch and save 4 or 5 of your Lava and Mud Dragons, after 8 to 10 failed attempts with one set of dragons use a new set. I got my Opal Dragons using 3 different Lava – Mud combinations.
Ive tried getting opal 20 times bt it all failed. I used my lvl 12 lava & 11 mud.,any help. Who should i put on the left?

I have found thatvI am better off using two Level 10 dragons than two dragons at a higher level (11-15). Also I would recommend using two dragons at the same level (ie. Lava 12–Mud 12). For my 3 Opal dragons I used Lava on the left for all three but I believe that for some players Mud on the left may work better.
I. Have 3 moons 2 suns 1 equinox all three Olympus dragons 1 silver dragon and 1 gold dragon 2 seasonals 3 sapphires 3 opals and every dragon exept the iron wood and limited time dragon and I can’t get the a RAINBOW!! It’s soo anoying
I got rainbow by scorch and mud weird how u have all them and I only have sun and rainbow lol luck (:

Grrrr……I’ve been using two IPads non-stop breeding lava and mud and have gotten 1 opal……so frustrating.

I’ve been tryin for Opal since the 1st and I finally got one today! Lava lvl 10 left Mud lvl 10 right upgraded EBI.

Well at the rate I’m going, I’ll have enough earth dragons to complete my shrine. But, no opal.
OMFG.I keep on doing the same combo but all I get are lava scorch sonic and mud.i have been trying for like days and still haven’t gotten yet.Hopefully I won’t have to take 200 tries like doc did.xD
If you really want the opal try to switch it up (lava-mud to mud-lava) got mine on first try mud and lava 🙂

Hey Allisper, it’s only been 2 weeks for all of us, I think ‘weeks’ with 3 exclamation marks is a bit OTT. I’ve just got it today with mud/lava, first gem dragon I’ve got for all the time they’ve been available so I’m very pleased though I really liked the sapphire one. My daughters got 2 now with same combo. But she’s always lucky with them.

if u are having trouble getting i definetly recomend the doc’s formula because i bred lava dragon ( level 10 ) and mud dragon ( level 5 ) and got the egg first try
