The best combo is air and obsidian. I got it on the second try!

I got it with lvl 12 Obsidian and lvl 12 Blazing…
At least, I got a 48 hour dragon in the time that the solar eclipse dragon is avalible.

I got it with lightning and arctarian 2 days after expired day
got it first try with obsidian lvl 13 and blazing lvl 11 on breeding island and got it 3rd try with blazing lvl 13 and lava lvl 13 on normal breeding cave

I agree, the air and obsidian is the combo that worked for me but I it it after 5 tries. I then got a second one using air and bone. I would like to add that EVERY combo that I’ve gotten from this site had yielded the desired dragons! I’m only missing a double headed rainbow dragon which I just can’t seem to get. I don’t have to spend hardly any cash. If you’ve come to this site for the first time, have patience jot down the combos and watch the magic happen lol.
I got my double rainbow dragon with level 13 storm and leavel 13 clover first try on the floating breeding cave
I finally got it! I would say I tried around 15 to 20 times before I got the solar eclipse dragon. I got it with blazing and lava on EBI, both over level 10 for even better chances in the new upgrade. While I kept putting blazing and lava on EBI, I was also alternating blazing with either obsidian or bone on the regular breeding cave with no avail. EBI is definitely worth it and blazing and lava are a golden combo for this dragon!

Air and Obsidian are the way to go. First try with them.
Got with fog and obsidian w/out EBI both lvl11 on first try. Try this combo first, it almost always gives you the rare dragons. At least from my experience
Used blazing lv 13 and lava lv 15 and got 48 hours breeding time!! First try hoping it’s solar eclipse!
Bred Blazing and Bone (both lev. 10) on EBI and incubation time shows 48 hours. This was my first attempt and it looks promising! Thanks!

I tried for days and days to get this and was thinking I never would. Then I finally did get it, and apparently right under the wire. I got the 48 hour time Sunday morning (November 10), then when I logged in that evening, Solar Eclipse was gone from the market. So here it is, Tuesday morning, November 12, and my new egg is finally incubating. So pleased I didn’t miss this. Level 13 Obsidian + Level 12 Blazing on breeding island.
I tried to get one of these by breeding the lunar and solar eclipse dragons together, but somehow I keep getting the smoke dragon??? Anybody have any idea why this is happening?
Got this with Fog lvl 11 and Obsidian lvl 11 hope that helps! (On first try !!!)

This website is da bomb!! Within 3 days if discovering it I have leap year, Celtic, and zombie. Just have patience and the combos will work
How?! I have the Epic Breeding Island and I’ve never even com CLOSE to getting any rare dragon of any sort. Heck, I can’t even get a firework dragon!

I did the same combo (was after the garnet dragon)
Use a and glacier dragon it worked for me on first try
I got a Sun Dragon with BlueFire (11) and Hail (11)

Got it with obsidian lvl 16 and blazing lvl 15. Had blazing in first bred 4 times nothing. Changed, first time.
Used fog and obsidian both level 11 and got 48 hours on first try.
Yep it was a solar eclipse dragon!
Tried the fog and obsidian ended up with 48 hr breed ing third try but turned out to be a rainbow
Level 8 air on the left level 9 obsidian on the right got solar eclipse first try.
Do Obsidian (left) and Meteor (right)
Works every time for me!
Both have to be level 11 or 10 at least.

Hey guys. I just got one with air and lava (trying to get sandstorm) and it wasnt listed as a possible combo so i thought i would share.
The pushing is killing your website. Even hitting to leave a comment I was thrown away to the App Store twice. I understand the need to get revenue however lately your site is becoming a pain to use. I go on, and within 10 seconds thrown to somewhere else. I have to exit and bring back up safari. If I go to ANOTHER page of yours…which you want. I get thrown again. You are going to lose traffic. And that is a shame. Idk what you can do about it, but it needs to change. I’m ready to go to other sources that don’t put do much exiting and going back on me. Also the overlaps are shoving into your content.
Hi, I got it with a Lv 10 bronze Olympus and a Lv 10 silver Olympus. Isn’t that weird?

Got it first try with Rainbow and Moon.
Honestly the best combo for me was Sakura + Smoke. Got 2 of these with that combo and didn’t get Solar Eclipse with any of the other combos I tried, including the blazing/lava and blazing/obsidian. I also got a Rainbow with Sakura + Smoke.
Breed a Comet and Lava dragon, just for kicks and got a Solar Eclipse.

After a few attempts at the Garnet dragon with a Smoke and Obsidian, both level 11, I got this one at the Epic Breeding Island.
I breed leap year dragon and lightning dragon got it first try 🙂
I got it in the normal breeding cave with a lvl 11 obsidian and a smoke, also lvl 11, was trying for the aquamarine but hey, this works too XD
I got mine with a Muse dragon and a Fire dragon.
Got it with Blazing and Crystal lvl 12 for both
Finally got it with crystal (11) and blazing (16) in co-op cave. Took maybe 6 tries there and 8 tries with no success in the normal cave with blazing(11) and glacier (11).
