I just got a 30-hour breeding time using Firefly (left/level 11) & Cactus (right/level 10) on my first try. Hope it’s the Topaz.

How do you have a topaz and love dragon at the same time
If you have two love dragons from February and breed them, you can make a third.
Because if u have two love dragons then u can breed them anytime and he just decided to breed them when he got his topaz ( I guess)

hey for some reason my game still says there’s opal not topaz can someone tell me why oh yeah and wouldnt ash and scorch work there the same types as cactus and firefly? plz reply!!!:)
If you are Having any problems, uninstall the game and reinstall. All your stuff will remain the same sine it’s saved to your account.
oh and my game shows no ghost or obsidian or karios(not sure if spelt exact.right) and I even updated wats wrong with my game
Karios is a special dragon. You can’t buy it. As for the others, I have no idea what’s wrong.

I tried it and it didn’t work these things never seem to work and i really want topaz because its my birthstone!!!:(
Some people tried 4 times.. Still trying to get it as well.. Its my birthstone as well. I guess we just need to keep trying
Also my birthstone and I’ve tried countless times keep getting firefly I guess I still have 25 days (ish) to try I rly hope I get it tho havnt been successful with any gemstone dragon yet
Took me like 20 tries but I finally got him! I found that the best time to breed is late at night. Like 1 or 2 am.

Yup, try ghost and iron,evergreen and sandstorm,obsidian and seaweed,obsidian and water,clover and earth and rain and scorch. Those all worked for me

They are only available around Valentine’s day. The reason it is gown abov is because this person had two love dragons and has bred them.
Hi Sonya, the Love dragon was available last Valentines day. Some people that we able to get two of any of the special dragons are able to breed them any time they like, but only if you had two. As the Bone Dragon was recently available again this past Halloween, (I got mine last year), I would guess that the Love Dragon should be available next Valentines Day. So far I have all of the Dragons that have been available to date, as well as display eggs for all of them. Feel free to check out my islands.. Thomin8r on game enter.

My first time ever getting a gemstone dragon. Bred cactus and firefly and got it on my fourth try. I have insomnia and I was still up at around 7 am and tried breeding and got it. Hope that helps 🙂

With gemstone dragons there is usually only one combination. You just have to persevere.
If I get another cactus egg, I’m gonna scream!!!
Someone mentioned ash and scortch. I have tried the combo…I reverted back to cactus and firefly only becuz the times are shorter if you don’t “get it”.
But in theory, they should work.

It does work but I had countless attempts first… I now have an abundance of poison and firefly dragons… But my dragons are now on a 30hr breeding…. Persevere!!
Hi Annie,
I believe you are a newbie? I think I read a comment from you before. I’ll give you some free advice that you can try if you like. When you breed the cactus and the firefly and keep getting cactus and firefly eggs, save the eggs and hatch them. Then level the dragons to 10 and replace your breeding dragons with the new generation of dragons. This is not a guarantee, but I believe it increases your chances of getting the rare dragons. I have bred all the dragons so far since I statred to use this system. Good luck!

Oh my!!!!! I think I GOT Topaz!!! Got a time of 24 but its in the upgraded cave so time is shorter and it seems about right.
I did the “new” dragon thing to lvl 10. They showed up in the area in positions that I’d seen before with no luck….checked the breeding time anyway and my jaw dropped!!
Tempted to use gems to see….. :}

I’ve tried this so many times, I have so many new firefly dragons, even scorch and ash! I think I even have a poison one brewing…when will I get a topaz?! Argh! At least trying the combos, the poor results don’t take long – failed attempts are either 22 minutes or 2-3 hours(keep in mind I have both the upgraded breeding cave and breeding island/sanctuary). Props to MAC….not everything has worked right away, but I am further than I would be! My park is strong, just lack sun and any gemstones, but much improved. Also gained six gem traders that are trustworthy, so thanx!

I just can’t seem to get the topaz dragon!!!!! Is there any other breeding combinations that work???? Please help!!!!!! I have the gemstoneisland and everything but I just need a dragon to put in there so I can earn more gems!!!!! Help!
Got it first try in the epic breeding island. Got it with cactus and crystal.

D: tried 9 times now and still nothing.
I’ve seen gemstone dragons take 40 tries or more and they only have one combo. Just keep trying.
Finally got a 30hr time on ebi! Awesome cuz tomorrow is my birthday 🙂
After 4 days of countless breeding, I finally got breeding time of 30HRS.
I’m sure it is the Topaz Dragon.

I did try with the firefly and cactus dragon, it just doesn’t work. Is there any other ways?

Total of 43 trys (21 in the cave, 22 on the island) so far and still no Topaz 🙁 I think maybe I’ll give one pair a break and start using the cave to try for something else…
I have done over 50 breedings. So far I have had no luck at all on the EBI, but I am currently incubating my second Topaz in the EBC. My first one is currently hatching. Still though, a lot of tries without much success. Just keep at it. Good luck!
OMG!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! *Happy Dance!!!* Just put a cactus/firelfy combo in the upgraded cave (after giving them a short rest while I bred for a steel egg) and the breed time is 24 hours! Am almost tempted to spend 24 gems to incubate it NOW, LOL!!! So, 45th attempt was the charm!!!

Id say this has been the easiest to get! Everyone is getting this dragon! Anyway i love the egg 😀
Is ther any other way to get this Gemstone Dragon or is “Cactus” and “Firefly” the only way? Also, do the dragons need to be above or below a certain level to get this dragon?
Usually gemstone dragons only have one “breeding pair” that works.
I think all levels have a chance, but the higher level they are, the better chances there are of getting a rare dragon. Just a theory, not 100% sure
