Getting the second one of a special dragon isn’t that difficult. If you already have one double rainbow, breed it with a regular rainbow. You get a fifty/fifty shot at the double that way, which is so much better than trying again from scratch. You can do that with all of the special ones as long as it’s in the same family.
I do not think that strategy works for dragons from the Rainbow habitat because I wanted a second Leap Year dragon so I bred my Leap Year dragon with a Celtic dragon and this produced Rainbow dragon offspring every time I tried it. I got a Double Rainbow dragon on my second or third try using Blazing & Swamp and I wanted a second Double Rainbow so I tried breeding my Leap Year with my Double Rainbow and the offspring was always a regular Rainbow dragon. I have had success breeding a second dragon of other epic dragons using that statedgy but it seems that dragons from the rainbow habitat don’t follow this rule.
You would only be able to get the celtic or leap year dragon from that combo whilst it is available as it is a time limited dragon. 2 leap years will give leap year at any time, 2 celtics will give celtic, but if you only have one of each you are scuppered until they are available again!

Got a cotton dragon with tree and scorch. Ended up getting a double rainbow n 2 rainbow dragons b4 I got itthough
evergreen lvl 18 and quake lvl 18… first try.. the first time that has happened to me.
You can not get a Cotton Dragon with Evergreen and Quake. There is no Cold element in a Cotton Dragon. You can get a 24 hour Crystal Dragon with Evergreen and Quake.

I bred Cotton dragon using a level 20 Bouquet Dragon on the left and a level 16 Quake dragon on the right (bred on the upgraded Epic Breeding Island.) It took a few tries. I bred them again a few times going for a second Cotton dragon and I have just over 19 hour breeding time so it looks like another Cotton. Yea! Looking for folks to trade gem for gem with, my Game Center ID: WinsAllot

I’m breeding Cactus and Lava, but not sure is its Cotton or Crystal, because they both take 24 hours, and they’re both possible with this combination. 🙁
