I tried the sandstorm and thunder dragon in the breeding island and I got 35 hours? What the hell is that?!
Many Olympus dragons have 35-36 hours for their breeding/gestation/incubation time. It may be an Olympus or Snowy Bronze/Silver/Gold. Let me know what it turns out to be!

DragonVale’s reply would be: there’s a method to the madness. Just play the game and be happy you have your electronic device in the first place.
Sandstorm breeding: HOW TO BREED: AIR AND LAVA / AIR AND MUD / AIR AND TREE / SAKURA AND AIR. Best to just follow the guide instead of guessing.
I have a SANDSTORM Dragon And I bred it on my own with Air and Crystal and I was too late and when I had it Lapis Dragon was gone!

If you have a dodo dragon breed that with the air dragon! Breeding times are usually two hours and there is a higher chance you will get the sandstorm dragon.

Where do you go to add friends ?
For IOS go to game centre, tap on friends Icon at bottom of screen & then tap + symbol at top right corner. Type nick name or email of that person, tap send.

Use Sandstorm and Thunder. Rarely, if you breed dragons, you will get a random dragon. For example, I bred 2 Polarians and got a Chrome.
Why is it so hard to get this dragon

I got all three Olympus dragons, in a row, from trying to breed the Lapis! I’m only complaining a teensy bit, because they each take 35 hours lol!
Why is nobody actually saying how to breed the lapis and why are they talking about sandstorm drags
Sandstorm and Thunder are the only pair that will breed a Lapis.
Will sonic work? Instead of thunder? They both have the same elements
Thats not true, storm is cold and lighting while the sonic is air and lightning.

I bred sandstorm (lvl 11) and thunder (lvl 11) in the epic breeding cave and I got 35 hours? What might it be?
I bred these two, both level 11, and it gave me my first bronze Olympus dragon, which was very peculiar, is there any other combinations for the Lapis, or shall I keep trying with sandstorm and thunder?
There isn’t any other combination besides Sandstorm with Thunder. What you are looking for is a 32 hrs breeding time. My wife got 2 Lapis dragon on her 1st & 2nd try using Sandstorm with Thunder. I have been trying for about 2 weeks but keep getting Olympus dragon(35 hrs breeding time). It really depends on your luck. Good luck to us, lol.
I have bad luck! I have tryed (with sandstorm lvl 12 and thunder lvl 12 in EBI) a lot of times and get noting
Finally, got a Lapis dragon today 15 May by breeding Sandstorm Lv 18 with Thunder Lv 18 at EBC. Sorry, the breeding time should be 25:59:59 hrs. But still no luck with my other account with the same combo, same Level.

This should make you feel better too: I am Lv 65 and have been playing for years and except for some obnoxiousness during the “special events”, i just love this game. But…I think I was the absolute last person from lv 60 up to get a darned double rainbow! I finally got that rascal about a week or 2 ago! Hooray!

I bred sandstorm level 20 and thunder level 20 in epic breeding sanctuary and got 28 hours. Please tell me it’s a lapis!!

I’ve gotten at least 5 bronze Olympus dragons with this and now something with 9 hours with the EBC. Any other combos?
I Got My Lapiz Dragon with Spring Dragon And Winter Dragon. FIRST TRY!
WTF??? I bred Sandstorm + Thunder in Epic Breeding Island (80% the time of regular cave) … and I got 24 hours… a Lapis Dragon in the EBI takes 25 hours 36 minutes, but 24 hours, wtf???
it could technically either be a Diamond, Jet, Ovalith, Pearl, Pharaoh, Quartz, Sapphire, or Topaz…
but Diamond is Mine + Ice
Jet is Frostfire + Ash (and expired)
Ovalith is Bloom + Panlong (pretty much unbreedable)
Pearl is expired
Pharaoh is expired
Quartz is Luminous + Lava
Sapphire is expired
and Topaz is expired

My Epic breeding island is being very stupid… it is supposed to make the times 80% the time it would have taken, and I got really excited when it said 24 hours because it made absolutely no sense, but it was a crystal dragon. Shouldn’t it have been about 19 hours and 12 minutes?
You have to upgrade the Epic Breeding Island to the Epic Breeding Sanctuary to get reduced times

I am using sandstorm and SONIC? Will that work because sonic and thunder are both air and lightning? They r both level 11 but I’m using the regular breeding cave because I don’t have the breeding island. Please let me know if SONIA will work. Thanks
