OK, well we’ve been getting complaints that the DragonVale breeding posts are getting over-run with friend request spam. So in an attempt to restore order and keep comments on THOSE posts focused on breeding combos, I am creating this one post to become the master list of friend requests. So whether you are looking for Game Center friends or Facebook friends, please post here. I will begin not approving friend requests elsewhere, thanks!

How do u add people on Game Center?? Or as a friend on dragon vale? I’m lvl 85 with 240 dragons
You can’t add friends through Game Center anymore. It has to be done via Facebook, which is really lame.
Or if you have an ipad 2 that never got the ios 10 update, you can use that to add friends the way you’re used to.

Hi Sarah. I’m using iOS 10.1 & I don’t think you can add friends through GC any more. At least I haven’t figured it out. I see you can invite friends on Dragon Vale itself but you need the other persons e mail. If you want to send me your e mail address & I’ll send you a request. My e mail is katshepard@bak.rr.com.

Hi Altreida. The only way I can see to do it is on the Dragon Vale app itself. There’s a tab to invite friends. You need each others e mail address in order to send a request. If you want to try it with me my e mail is dragondancer57@yahoo.com

Now that Game Center (with iOS 10) cannot be used for friend requests, how can I add friends since I’m not on Facebook? Is there some kind of work-around for the “new” Game Center? Ugh stinking AUTOCORRECT isn’t working arghh
You can access the game center app on another idevice like an ipad 2. I have one and it can’t reach ios 10 because no more software updates will be released for it, so I still have the game center app and I can use it to add friends. Since game center is used with your apple id, you could use any device to add friends. So for example if you have a friend who hasn’t updated their phone yet to the ios 10, ask them if you could use their phone, just sign them out, and sign yourself in. I hope this helps.
