I got it from breeding the root dragon and the liberty dragon I got it first try in the breeding island

Omg i got it first try with shimmer lvl 11 and nectar lvl 13. O.o
I am on my 35th try with shimmer and nectar AND water and light all level18 . All I get are 7 hour Lotus. eVERY time. I am so frustrated I feel like quitting this game. There has to be another way. I have fed these 4 dragons to level 18 thinking it would make a difference but no luck
I kep getting Lotus dragons! I have tried probably 30 or more times! I want this dragon so bad but my patience is running out 🙁
I also only get lotus dragons. I’ve used all level 18 dragons and higher. I have almost all the dragons except zombie and geode. It’s frustrating, game seems rigged. The higher level or the more dragons you have, they block you from getting the new dragons? Or maybe they need us to keep tuned in for the “Bring ‘me Back” at the end of the year?
My four dragons are all lvl 20 the highest lvl and I’ve still no luck at all
I got it first try. Try level 11 Ooze then a level 11 light dragon. I used them in that order. Before that (using the same pair) when they were swapped all I got we’re Lotus too… Sorry if this doesn’t help ^^
I’ve tried for about a week with light and water. Onto trying with shimmer and nectar I suppose?

And I think I’ve got it with this combo as well, or at least the incubation time is 33 hours 36 min in the upgraded cave so I’m hoping 🙂 Thanks for the tip!
I’ve been breeding Shimmer and Nectar 7-8 times a day since the dragon was released. Every single time it has been a 7 hour breed (usually Lotus). Tried Light and Plasma, got a 48 hour breed on my second try. <33
I have 3 different parks on different devices….two are maxxed, one is newer.
I didn’t have the right dragons on 2.

Light/plasma (lvl 11, in EBI) worked 2nd try. Shimmer/nectar FINALLY worked on another. (many Lotus eggs before)

UPDATE:
I just got a second Prism.
It was with Light/Plasma, both lvl 11 on EBI (both during dusk)
I hate to think the Twilight Tower will influence breeding odds…but why else have it?

I FINALLY got a Prism on my third park.
Bubba, I can’t thank you enough!!
I am having good luck with Light/Plasma in EBI….most of my dragons are lvl 11.
Of note, (MAYBE):: all prisms that I have gotten by light/plasma AND shimmer/nectar have been during “dusk” from the Twilight tower.

All three parks have bred two Prisms apiece.
My newest park was the last when the “last call” from Backflip went out.
Light/plasma has produced the most….EBI during twilight.
Don’t be afraid to rush a Lotus breed time…twice I have gotten a prism breeding time next!

Got it with Nectar and Shimmer 1st try in the EBI (both level 11)
Thought I got it also with abyss and glass but it was just a regular rainbow:(

I wish I could get it, I’m trying a Shimmer level 11 and Nectar level 13 (from an earlier comment) but I keep getting Lotus dragons over and over. I can’t get ANY other dragon from this pair! :/

Keep trying took about 15 goes, both on level 17, got lots of lotus, but hatch them to get 20 fireflies, then sell them.

Me too shimmer then nectar on ebi 1st try. Shimmer level 15 and nectar 16. Been playing for a year and this is 1st time I got a rare dragon on 1st try.
Got mine with wraith and shimmer both lvl 15, breeding for the dream dragon (2nd try)
I got it with Shimmer + Nectar (both level 13) on the 3rd try on EBI!!! If it helps any I got it at 6:30 in the morning central time, I don’t know if that matters about the time but I had been trying throughout the day and only got it early in the morning.

My kiddo was so excited to get Prism dragon 1st try on EBI with Wind and Fog.
How long is the incubation time on the upgraded island? 🙂 I’ve got a light and plasma combo of 33 hours and around 56 minutes, any idea what that can be?
Never mind, the incubation time is 33 hours 36 min, which I can see matches the prism dragon, so I’m hoping! 😀 If anyone has troubles getting this dragon I tried the light and plasma combo as suggested earlier, mine are both lvl 15, but I got it first try!

I actually made the prism by accident! So, I was breeding the dream in the breeding island (by the way, I made it with glare and nightshade on second try), but I wanted to breed the prism too. I looked on here to see what’s the combo to get it and the first one was water and light, but I thought it would for sure end up on a hybrid. So, while glare and nightshade were breeding, I tried to get the shimmer on the regular not-upgraded breeding cave, but all I could get was lotus. So, after my 5th try, I got the best surprise ever: prism dragon! I just wanted to post it because probably there are many people who will not try water and light because they think they’ll get a regular hibrid dragon, but it is, actually, a great combo. If I made it on the regular cave, can you imagine how easily I would do it on the island? So, if you don’t have shimmer or nectar, just breed regular water and light!
Got it first time, EBI, Fog level 11 and Light level 11

OMG OMG OMG!!! I JUST GOT ONE FIRST TRY!! I was going for a nectar so I did Both Level 10 Glass and Mud and got Prism!!! Hope this helped! TRY IT!!!
I actually got prism using light rift and dark rift both level ten using the ordinary, not upgraded breeding habitat., not the breeding island. I dont know how, but this may help someone i hope.

I come here because I believed the best combinations are provided with the post but that’s wrong the dragons suggested are the WORST combinations to use lotus and shimmer is the best.
I got this one with Shimmer and Nectar, tried 15-18 days straight.

I wanted to breed the prism dragon with the combination you suggested
So i tried for almost 20 Times light and plasma both level 11 un the EBI upgraded
And there was no prism dragon coming out so this morning i wanted to try shimmer and nectar
But as i dont have the nectar dragon i had the idea to match shimmer and water
(Because nectar is light and water) and for the first Time with this combination it was written speed them up for 34 gems :0
Got it first try with a level 13 light and a level 13 water dragon, I’m pretty lucky I guess since it looks like most people are having a hard time breeding it:p
Darkrift and water got me a Prism
I finally got Prism with Light / Plasma both level 15 EBI 3rd try. I lost count how many times I tried the other combos!

I tried again shimmer and water un the EBI uprgaded and i got 2 prism in 3 attempts !!!
I forget what I used the first time to get it, it was one of the same combos that are used to get a rainbow dragon… Just got another one with prism and rainbow 2nd try (first try was a silver dragon)
Just got a dream dragon, a rainbow dragon then retried again and got a Prism.
Got them from breeding Light-rift and Plasma
i got 2 of them……shimmer plus nectar both lv 8 and shimmer plus lotus using lv 16 on both
Plasma and light works
Finally got one of these with Shimmer and Nectar both lvl 16. But like so many others i bred a lot of lotus dragons before finally breeding this puppy.
