Does it matter what your twilight tower is set at?
This is the weirdest dragon yet. I never expected this.
Actually if you look at all of their anniversary dragons, you’ll see the pattern: paper, cotton, and now leather. So it’s not unexpected at all

That said, I have gotten 3 ‘Cotton’ on dragons now using Sakura/Hail…ALL in the EBC and at/eleven lvl or higher…none have been even. ‘Twilight’ tower is day.

First try Firefly (level 15) and Mountain (level 14) in EBI
Also got leathery with Firefly(11) and Mountain(11)

They’re doing the anniversaries just like wedding.
1st- paper
2nd- cotton
3rd- leather
4th- will be “Linen”
Sakura and Bloom, level 17 EBI. First breed and there he was. Same combo works for Cotton and Paper too, my sister is breeding them with magnificent results.

I got the Leathery dragon with Scorch (level 20) & Mountain (level 20) in the enhanced enchanted breeding cave.

I got each of mine on the second try, lvl 17 blue fire and lvl 17 crystal in the ebs, and lvl 17 ghost and lvl 17 scorch on the ebi. Both at the same time, oddly! Good luck fellow players! Now to try for my second cotton…

It’s leathery. It’s the reduced breeding time.
This dragon did not take me too many tries to get. I tried the 3 combinations listed (firefly/mountain; cotton/arctic; sakura/hail) in both the epic breeding island (EBI) and the breeding cave (BC). I decided to keep trying only using firefly/mountain in both EBI and BC. I finally got leathery dragon using firefly/mountain combo in the breeding cave. I don’t think the twilight tower makes a difference if it’s set to day or dusk, since I got it on both settings. But the first time I got it was when I switched the tower to dusk. But like I said, I also got it when twilight tower was set to day. Both firefly dragon and mountain dragon are level 15. Hope this helps! Good luck!

After no success with blue fire and crystal I finally got it with cotton and arctic second try yippee!

Crystal and Blue Fire both lvl 12 EBI
Cotton 14 + arctic 14 = 24 hours. Any idea?
My daughter just got it with Bloom and Obsidian both lvl 15 on her first try on the EBI. Still proving elusive for me although I did manage to get both Paper and Cotton pretty quickly.
Lava and storm are the miracle combo!

This has been frustrating. Lost track of the number of tries but zero success. Been trying Firefly + Mountain in EBI but all I keep getting are the various Rainbow dragons.

I just now bred a leathery dragon without ever having one. I thought they were expired.
Just got it with firefly and mountain on my like fifth try lol!!! But I got it!!! Storm and lava got me 39 hours…
