HOW TO BREED: First must be earned through the Gathering of Roses Event (or through co-op breeding with a friend who has one). Once you have one, you can breed another with just about any Epic such as Melancholy and Ire / Melancholy and Sun / Melancholy and Moon / Melancholy and Monolith

See, just today I got a surprise dragon too by breeding a moon dragon with a Apocalypse dragon, but only got it once so far.

I’ve never posted before, but I wanted to mention that I’ve never had one of these before but I’m certain (the egg is identical to the blue one shown above) I just bred one from a Tree and Lichen during the bring them back event.
unexpected catch with Storm and Forest! was aiming for Celtic but this is sweet too!
I breed the surprise dragon close to the beginning of me starting by breeding some of the only dragons I had at the time I think I breed the flower and forest dragons.and recently I bread the melancholy one as well but I have no idea how!? Surprise was during no event but melancholy was during this snow rush event. So I think it’s quite possible to breed them with rather random combinations.. 🙂
I got this dragon during the Bring em’ Back event breedng two Epoch dragons together. Unexpected!
