It’s not even a Steven Universe reference, lol. This dragon came out way before the show. Quartz is an actual type of rock.
Actually being a geologist i can verify that quartz is a mineral, it is SiO4

So, although unlikely, could be a possible reference – but as I reiterate this is most unlikely

Jade can you tell me what dragons you bred, their levels & which breeding cave you used? I have been trying to get this dragon using luminous & lava both level 18 & I still have not been able to get the quartz dragon. Appreciate your help! Thanks!!
Frustrating…using 2 of both dragons on both breeding spots an no luck after trying for almost 20 times…
Just got the Quartz on my 2nd try with Luminous lvl 13 and Lava lvl 13 on the EBI.

What is the EBI that you bred Luminous and Lava in to get the Quartz dragon? I have been using my bigger breeding cave & never get it. Both my dragons are level 18. Thanks!
It doesn’the matter; Unfortunately, the breeding outcome is always random. (R.N.G.!) Just like the lotto!
Epic Breeding Island…
I got this with Bloom and Panlong (level 20 for each of them)
^^ same as Matt Mayhem, I got it second try Luminous/Lava, both lvl 11, EBI. No clue how I had such luck.
I have been trying to breed this for weeks now using lava and luminous in the cave and island. Any suggestions?
Can someone please help me? I am using level 16 Lava and level 16 Luminous on the Epic Breeding Cave. I am on around my 20th try and I have not gotten anything. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?
Yeah. You need to try 20 more times, like I always have to do for all the epics. :)* I know, it’s a b*tch, right? No seriously though, all you really can do is try at different times of the day and night, and keep trying everyday of the week. It might not help, but it’s all you really can do, unless you want to try experimenting with other dragons that have the same elements. I write all possible elemental combinations down, and try as many as I can. It does take up a lot of your time, but it sometimes works.
Took me over 30x but thank god I got it on last call:)
