It’s now showing as one of my Goals to be achieved and somehow, on my other world, I bred one by accident and have the egg now. I really don’t remember how I did it, but it is possible to breed.

I just got the voltaic by breeding a spark rift Dragon, level 11, with a dark trait, and an abyss rift Dragon, level 10 also with a dark trait.
Just got a voltaic dragon first try with a lightning riff dragon and a dark rift dragon both level 7
