Apple’s stock set yet another record today fueled by the latest buzz coming out of the Consumer Electronics Show and the rumors flying around the internet of what we may expect to see at next week’s Macworld. By midday the stock had reached an all-time of $76.44 in heavy trading.
While no new iPods have been announced this week, the CES show in Las Vegas debuted a wealth of iPod-related accessories and made it clear that Apple is the undisputed leader in the portable media player market.
Anticipation is also running high looking ahead to next week’s Macworld keynote speech, to be delivered by Steve Jobs. Rumors have ranged from the first Intel Macs appearing, to new iApps, to a new wireless iPod receiver being unveiled.
