Apple offers current Aperture users $200 e-coupon

Apple today released an update to its professional photography tool Aperture, bringing the application to version 1.1. The most notable feature of this update is of course that it adds native support for Apple’s new Intel Macs. The second most notable feature is Aperture now costs $200 LESS than when it was released earlier this year.
However, image professionals who rushed out to buy version 1.0 of the application when it was first released for $499 are not being left out in the cold. Apple has made available a $200 e-coupon to reward current licensed Aperture 1.0 users. The coupon is good towards $200 off any online Apple store purchase. Licensed users of Aperture 1.0 Academic will receive a $100 e-coupon.
