Free on iTunes: “I Wanna Be A Soap Star� plus bonus finale sneak peak

A slightly different twist on the whole “free iTunes TV episode� thing we’ve seen thus far. The SOAPnet series “I Wanna Be A Soap Star� is offering the 2nd to last series episode as well as a sneak peak featurette for free. Usually, networks offer up the premiere episode of a series or season to help generate some intrest. This is the first time a show has used iTunes to attempt to generate buzz going into the FINAL episode of a season.
“I Wanna Be A Soap Star� follows the action as 10 would-be soap star hopefuls vie for a spot on the daytime drama One Life To Live. Each week the contestant pool is narrowed, Survivor/So You Think You Can Dance-style. You can download the free episode, entitled “Who Am I?� (in which contestants attempt to master the always-useful soap skill of dealing amnesia) here, as well as the 10-minute “Final Sneak Peak�.
