Microsoft releases Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.0 Security Update

Microsoft today released an update to their Office 2004 for Mac, bringing it to version 11.3.0.
From Microsoft’s AutoUpdate:
This update contains several updates to enhance security and stability, including fixes for vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code. In addition, this update includes all of the improvements released in all previous Office 2004 updates.
Improvements
The following improvements fix numerous security and stability issues in Office 2004.
Improvements for all Office 2004 applications
• Security is improved
This update fixes vulnerabilities in Office 2004 that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code.
• Hyphenation is applied correctly to Swiss German content
This update fixes an issue that prevents Office 2004 applications from applying proper hyphenation to Swiss German content. Users designate content as Swiss German by using the Language command on the Tools menu.
Improvements for Word 2004
• Properties are retained in large documents
This update fixes an issue that causes some document properties to be lost if you open and save a document that contains a large number of document properties, such as documents that contains more than 55 headings. This issue affects only users who have installed the Office 2004 11.2.5 Update.
• Font does not change to Times New Roman after using a non-breaking space
This update fixes an issue that causes text typed after a non-breaking space to change unexpectedly to Times New Roman font.
Improvements for PowerPoint 2004
• Hyperlinks and Action Settings are retained
This update fixes an issue for users who created presentations in PowerPoint 2004 version 11.2.5. Hyperlinks and action settings are lost when the presentation is opened in PowerPoint after installing the Office 2004 11.2.6 Update.
