You may remember back in 2006 we brought you word of Gracie’s Gear’s POWER POUCHâ„¢ Sports Bra for iPod, and dubbed it perhaps “the single most important iPod accessories to ever have been made“. Well, now the most important invention ever is joining in the most important fight ever; the fight against cancer.

Throughout 2007, Lauren Grace Updyke’s Gracie’s Gear is mounting a huge fundraising effort dubbed Gracie Gives. Through online sales of her PowerPouch Sports bras (Macenstein rated 9.5 out of 10) and Programs, as well as special racing events throughout the year, Lauren hopes to raise funds and awareness for two very worthwhile cancer foundations.

From January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007, 50% of all proceeds from online sales of the black tank, black cami and black short top POWER POUCH™ sports bras as well as all Gracie’s Gear training programs will be donated to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. In addition to raising funds for cancer research, Gracie’s Gear would like for the black POWER POUCH™ to represent the powerful fight against cancer, worn in support of those who are living with cancer and in remembrance of those who have died from the disease.
