“Electric Computers”? OK, Now Apple is just fucking with us
It takes such little effort for Apple to get front page publicity. A simple thing like changing the description on their cargo manifest to read “electric computers” from “desktop computers” has got the rumor community’s knickers in a twist. It seems that between those mysterious 188 containers everyone is talking about and that alleged solar iPhone… Apple has decided the best way to advertise is now viral. Simply patent something you may or may not ever even consider making, and BOOM! (to quote Steve) you are front page on Yahoo, Forbes, and CNN.

Holy Crap does Apple know how to create hype! Go to Yahoo.com, and look at the home page. All this for a product Apple hasn’t even said existed!!! It’s truly amazing… there’s also a link to “facts and rumors about the 3G iPhone”. I don’t think in the history of Apple has a product been so hyped. Above even the original iPhone. This is absolutely crazy!!!
Not only THAT, Art, but 2 of the 3 films in that Netflix ad are from Disney! Coincidence?
Actually, all three films are from Disney. Disney owns ABC, who has Lost ;-).

It does appear to be incredibly easy for Apple to get people worked up about latest news. I know I am! 🙂
