This time of year, one’s thoughts naturally turn towards giving thanks for all the blessings in one’s lives, and there can be no doubt that Macenstein is truly the biggest blessing of all. I’m thankful that macenstein has a sense of humour. And that he so annoys many dim readers that they quit the site. That means fewer readers to compete with for the drives! The absence of their not-so-pithy comments is another benefit.
Oh, I’m not so thankful for the reCAPTCHA words. Not because they’re any inconvenience, but because the words are (too) often unreadable and I have to reload them 2 out of 3 times,
