Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his Mac
No wonder he won the election with 70% of the vote! Here we see Russia’s president Dmitry Medvedev proudly displaying his MacBook Pro at meeting full of crotchety looking suits (and one decidedly non-crotchety-looking lady….rrrwwwoooarrr).
Apparently Medvedev is so hip he video blogs (no doubt using his MacBook’s built-in iSight camera). Gee. Why doesn’t OUR president do that? (Hmmm.. on second thought, that is probably a horrible idea.)
Thanks to faithful Macenstein reader Peter for the tip!

I am sooo disappointed in your displaying this bastard’s face next to Mac chicks.
Perhaps a new category is needed “MacBooks used by murderous dictators” or something like that. Is Putin next?
pawel, are you sick? (suck)
Nope den, I’m perfectly healthy, thank you very much.
I dig chicks, not murderous dictators. As simple as that.
i rather have this guy than the bush, he is way more evil and as stupid as they come
The Republican Hack Rush Limbaugh in good company!!!
pravda…when people compare dictators and almost-dictators in non-democratic, non-free (or barely free) states with Bush, they are the ones that are “as stupid as they come.”
Please, get a grip. CONGRESS causes 90% of what goes on in this country, not the current adminstration led by the current president. Does no one know how our country runs anymore?? Did they ever?
pawel, you are a dumbass. not much to add to that.
“Please, get a grip. CONGRESS causes 90% of what goes on in this country, not the current adminstration led by the current president. Does no one know how our country runs anymore?? Did they ever?”
The President, fulfilling the role of Chief Legislator, also sets the agenda for Congress every year, laying out what he or she considers most important to be accomplished (You may be familiar with this, it is called the State of the Union Address). Do you know how our country runs anymore? Also in his legislative capacity, the President must sign any bill before it may become law (with exceptions), or may veto any bill to prevent it from becoming law. Did you ever know how our country runs? Further, a plurality of bills originate from within the executive branch of the US. The president is also constitutionally bound to enforce the acts of Congress, the judgments of federal courts, and treaties.
While the balance of the separation of powers in our national government is generally sound, the executive branch does have great influence over both other branches. It is pure ignorance or idiocy to say that 90% of “what goes on in this country” is caused by Congress.
Looks like Medvedev has banned ties in his office.
Ethan: “Looks like Medvedev has banned ties in his office.”
God! Somebody noticed it at last)
By the way, good idea is drawn here, i think:
