Chris Brown sends Rihanna an iPod touch to smooth things over

According to the New York Daily News (who is never wrong), Chris Brown, fresh from very publicly (allegedly) beating the hell out of Rihanna, has sent the battered singer an iPod touch for her birthday. Awww… Sounds like a keeper, ladies!

“Chris [Brown] called Rihanna to wish her a happy birthday,” an insider tells us. “He’s absolutely trying to get back into her good graces. He knows he’s very much in the doghouse right now, and is doing everything he can to show her how sorry he is.”

But Brown seems to think a few well-placed birthday gifts can salve his ex’s wounds. He has already sent the “Good Girl Gone Bad” singer a diamond bracelet and necklace, an insider tells us, as well as an iPod touch. Plus, Brown’s mom, Joyce, who is said to adore Rihanna, sent over a bouquet of flowers.

Sound creepy? Unfortunately, the attention seems to be working. RiRi may just reconcile with Brown, say sources. “

“In the doghouse”? Granted, I don’t have nearly the amount of experience beating up women as Chris (allegedly) does, but I’m thinking MacBook Pro is the MINIMUM Apple-themed gift you give for domestic battery.

Not so sure about PRO but I don’t have experience here either…

Domestic battery? Bet it’s still not user replaceable.

after knowing what rihanna is going throught i dont think nothing can make up for it i never took my ex back for voilence and even though i have his son he hasnt changed doesnt have a care in the world.
men like chris brown only care about there own skin and i hope rihanna see’s that and doesnt take him back otherwise he will only do it again and who knowns what the out come will be next time.
i also hope rihanna keeps her head high she has all here fans behind her supporting her and hoping that she doesnt stand for his bad behaviour.
as for chris brown he needs to learn to keep his fists to himself and also learn that buying loads of presents isnt going to make it any better or take away rihannas pain he knows what he did is wrong and is trying to make his guilt feel better by buying rihanna present.

  5. Wiseguy says:

Yeah, the new 17″ Macbook Pro is probably the only thing that can hold a bigger battery charge.

Your selection of reading material (and by extension mine, since I’m reading this) scares me, Doc.

    RiRi? WTF?

  7. Carlitos says:

    Hear Hear!

I second Mr. Dave-O’s concerns, Doctor.

  8. Hogo says:

if she really takes him back, that will be pretty sad. especially since the going rate for getting the crap beat out of you is a mac pro/ 30″ cinema display.

zrzly though, that dude should be destroyed.

  9. Xero says:

if i had been proclaimed by Jay-Z a “Walking deadman” id be kissing her ass and calling it champagne too

  10. JAZZ says:

She’s very materialistic so hey the gifts just might work. Jay-Z need not comment on anything, he was caught on video while in his 30’s punching a women in her face and calling his beloved Beyonce a B****, I guess he just had a bit more money then Chris to keep that assault charge on the hush.
I don’t condone the beating but we all have shortcomings, some a bit worse than others but hey I haven’t seen a perfect person on this earth yet.
1 charge, 4 years in the entertainment biz at 19 isn’t half the charges and records a lot of these 20, 30, & 40 year old entertainer had under their belt at that age and just to think we’ve been supporting them for years…lol
So hey cut CHRIS BREEZY SOME SLACK!!!!!! Rihanna album title is “GOOD GIRL GONE BAD” that should tell you a little bit more about the sweet and innocent MS RIRI!!!

I think you should always hear both sides of every story and this is no different. I don’t agree with chris brown’s actions but there had to be something that brought him to that point. This action doesn’t seem to fit Browns’ personality, maybe they should both go get counseling so neither of them will have to suffer these costly consequences again.

  12. Mary Frances says:

I think he could have bought her a sports car instead

  13. Tina Davis says:

TMZ knows who triggered the fight that left Rihanna battered and bruised and Chris Brown an accused felon — it’s Brown’s manager.
