It’s helped drive the mobile web to the point where i’ve completely changed the way i stay connected with my family in south america, by being able to check news, email etc wherever I am!

  3. Paul says:

It used to be that I was on-line 8 hours a day. Now the iPhone has extended that to the bathroom, bed, bus, etc. i.e. 18 frikkin’ hours a day.

  6. sfmitch says:

The iPhone has made it easy to keep all of my important info in my pocket (get you head out of the gutter) with me at all times. Oh, and it’s fun.

  7. Brian says:

The money that I have saved from not having to power on my computer for checking email, .casual web surfing, etc. has more than likely far exceeded the cost of my iPhone. I love it.

  8. Carrie says:

I love that I can watch a movie in bed without disturbing my partner before I fall asleep. I hate that I don’t read anymore before going to bed.

  9. Paul says:

Keeping me more connected to loved ones and business associates. So nice not always having to power up the laptop to stay up to date. Can’t wait to, one-day, upgrade to the iPhone 4.

I love having all the information on the internet available anytime. It has made me much more productive. And I never get lost! But at the same time, access to all those games has made me less productive at times. I can’t live without it!

  11. Norm says:

My iPhone has changed my life so much. I now have a decent reliable camera and video camera with me at all times to catch the fleeting moments of my young sons life. I don’t have to worry about being without something to catch those precious moments.

I’ve used it in place of the GPS unit in my car, saving me from having to have three power connectors. It also replaced the OnStar service I had saving me even more money. I’ve also reduced the number of CD’s I have with me down to 0 as I use my iPhone as my iPod.

It’s allowed me to get answers immediately online when an issue comes up and I’m away from home, I have used it to schedule, track, fix, just about everything.

I’m able to get notices from the wife and family via e-mail quickly and easily wherever I am and able to do so much more without having to worry if I’ve left something at home when I travel.

  17. KC says:

The iPhone has changed my life in so many positive ways. I’m almost permanently connected to friends and family through messaging/social networking apps (e.g., Facebook/WhatsApp) and location services (e.g., Loopt) by way of App Store offerings, which makes for more fulfilling living in my case. My exploratory/social butterfly nature has received a tremendous boost thanks to participation in user feedback w/ apps like Yelp and of course the video capabilities of my 3GS for blogging/sharing the things going on around me. My personal and professional life is more organized thanks to iPhone multi-calendars functionality, email availability, and App Store To-Do apps; and as a result of my passion for the iPhone, I’ve begun the process of learning how to develop apps for the device, thus increasing my professional worth and level of personal growth through knowledge-gain. The phone has truly been the instrument through which the old me morphed into the more responsible, more accessible, more well-rounded me. Can’t get that with a flip phone, baby! 😉 lol

  18. Darrin D says:

I guess I am the only one who is going to be honest. PORN ANYWHERE YOU WANT IT!!!

  19. My iPhone keeps my pockets from being full. It has eliminated me carrying an iPod, a cell phone (non smart), a notebook, a pen and pencil, a pocket calendar, a calculator, and a flashlight. Before the iPhone, I used to carry all of that. Now if only they could innovate it so I needn’t carry a wallet, keys handkerchief the one ring and pocket knife I would only have the iPhone in my pocket.

  20. MacMarine says:

It transformed me into a mini Macenstein 🙂

  21. Friend of Dave says:

I used to be nervous and jerky, but now I’m not nervous anymore.

    It keeps my wife occupied!!!

  23. harpoon says:

it’s like a swiss army knife of awesome built into your phone, that’ll change anyone’s life.

Instant access to any data from anywhere? It’s the closest to a direct-to-brain implant as we’ll get for the next decade.

It changed everything! It made me skinnier, grew my hair back, made women flock to me, ended world hunger and the arms race. It’s just made heaven on Earth.

  26. Brandon says:

I have a terrible sense of direction, but the maps feature has truly changed the way i drive. I feel it doesn’t matter how screwed up I get, I always have the chance of saving myself

  27. SteveBobMike says:

People are always putting impossible problems to me and saying: “Don’t have an app for THAT do ya’.”

  28. Oscar VM says:

Integration. A phone, a pda, an excellent music player, a great portable gaming console, all in one place… But most of all, that I can always prove to my friends just how superior my iPhone is when compared to their generic Nokias and Motorolas

  29. John Hefner says:

Legal evidence: My friend has been abused for years now. Having access to the internet, background check, Facebook (which surprisingly has produced valid legal documentation), the geotagging feature with the camera, and much more has been the best tool for building a case against her abuser. The proof of contempt from all of this is going to keep two kids from being abused when he gets locked up.

  30. JJ says:

I text now. Never could before.

  31. Kyle P says:

After graduating college, I was able to purchase an iPhone and immediately use its strengths to fuel my career. By exercising my mobile networking prowess on the go, I quickly built a network in NYC and landed a job with benefits. Not that it couldn’t be done at my desk, but come on, this phone has changed my life for the better!

  32. Adam G. Davie says:

It has provided me with a second computer and given me an additional communication tool when when other tools (home phone, PC,) weren’t available.

  33. Switch says:

I stopped spending time with my kids as I have to give most of my waking hours to holding and looking at my iPhone.

  34. Jim says:

My time at my desk has been dropped by 80%.

  35. dlowe402 says:

It has most definitely helped me “Lighten the Load” at work. Being in Law Enforcement, I have always had to carry around about 20 lbs of books for quick reference. Now, because of my 3Gs, I have all of my reference materials in the palm of my hand. I also receive updates to laws sooner as it takes a while to get the new books. Add to that, always being connected to the news, weather, family, friends, etc, my iPhone makes me wonder how I did it all before. Oh, and I never have to rack my brain when I have that “what was the name of that movie, song, etc” moment ever again. I just whip out the trusty 3Gs and in an instant, my mind is satisfied.

  36. Grant Wall says:

My iPhone has changed my life on all of the standard ways, keeping me connected, allowing me to capture all of life’s many events, and it even keeps me organized

However, the biggest way the iPhone has changed my life is by allowing me to get rid of my old Razr v3. Any of you who have ever used this phone, know what a wonder it is to finally ditch it.

  44. ghostshadow says:

The iPhone has changed the way I go about day to day life. Apps that help me when I’m shopping or going out to eat.. When I am in new towns or cities I have never been in before I can quickly find information about where I am at and what is around me. I cannot remember when we / I didn’t have all of this information in the palm of our hands. I don’t get lost as much as I used to.

My iPhone allows me to stay in touch with my father, who lives alone, far away from me, my mom and stepdad, and over the years, the girlfriends I’ve had. The first girlfriend I graduated high school before me, and my iPhone allowed me to stay in contact with her. It’s made me closer to all of the important people in my life like no mobile device before it, and for that I am eternally grateful.
