This video makes me want to cry

Anyone who has every tried to draw something on the iPad will probably relate to my feeling of despair at watching this video. Apparently, as evidenced by New York artist David Kassan, it actually IS possible to make some truly inspiring art using just the $8 Brushesicon App and your finger, which means the reason my paintings come out so horrible is that I suck. Actually, I prefer to think he may have a more expensive finger than I do… Yes, I think I will blame it on not being able to afford the latest fingers…

It goes to show that if you’re an artist, you can work in almost any medium. I can’t draw on paper and that hasn’t changed on the iPad. 🙁

    But…but…what’s wrong with this guy?

All the clever media pundits agree – the iPad is great for consumption, but can’t really be used for content creation.

    Didn’t he get the memo?

Gives a new meaning to the term ‘finger painting’ 🙂

I think I see him using a stylus for much of the painting. Do we know for sure that he is using his finger?
